I want to tell you, that FU had total bees overhaul, and it can make this mod no longer working.

Awww no worries at all! Modding should be free and open, so no problem with extracting, taking a look, even using it for other projects, I don't mind any of that!

And sorry to hear about the issues with making your own mod, I'll confess not even I'm not sure how Compact Stations works myself >_>" it was all just trial and error changing the frame and object files, pretty much.

I'd be absolutely willing to help! We could do something like that together, of course :D will accept your invite and then we can discuss things via messaging!

@Immirik sorry to bother you in this thread, but since your profile is priv, I don't have any other way of contacting you. I have some nice sprites I drew in hopes to make a replacer of FU stations more in style of avikan tech. Unfortunaly for me, "drawing a sprite" is where it stops - I've spent almost a month already trying to code, I dissected your Compact Machines mod to get better understanding of it (sorry btw, I should've asked for permission to study it first), but got literary nowhere.
So I thought I'd write you a call. Maybe you'd be interested in makin' this? I don't care for credits, you can take all the spotlights for yourself, I just realy want those sprites in game, I put a lot of effort into drawing them, you know.
Again, sorry for such lame method of communication. Just delete this comment if it bothers you, I won't be angry about it if you do.

Alright, took a while for me to get to it, but finally fixed it ^^ The recipe should now be disabled, although not sure if it will affect an existing character or not... Thank you for the heads up!

Dunno if it helps - Bee Refuge doesn't show up by default, but it will show up if you check on the "show buildable only" checkbox.

Huh. Strange... I should look into it eventually, it definitely shouldn't be able to be crafted anywhere... probably a tag thing that I forgot ^^;

Kinda funny bug I found... you can craft Bee Refuge anywhere, including bare hands crafting menu, for 500 pixels. But since its normal cost is 25000 pixels, you can then sell it for double amount at minimum. Repeat + repeat + repeat = tonns of pixels out of thin air.

Apparently the Tele Shipments is uncraftable as of writing this post.

I unpacked the mod and had a look inside. Apparently the Tele-Shipments gets properly added as learned recipe but there is no patch to actually add it into the Inventors table.

As far as I know, De-lagger is down for more than a year now, since its original author doesn't wan't to give permission to anyone. Sooo I wouldn't wait for changes commin' from this direction if I were you =\
That mod DID introduce the way to combat that "multiple process" problem by making bigger api's for multiple bee families tho. I wish someone could repair those (and probably make them standalone)

and for the dellager, maybe if you only exchange all randomizers for bees for 1 and only 1 randomizer for all the bees, and add the percent (for example, mutation percent) after the roll for the expecique bees and after do the account.

Oh shoot! Didn't the recipe get unlocked if you buy the regular shipments in the bee refuge? That's how you unlock it.

As for the other suggestion... yeah, that would be a good idea. I'm quite afraid to mess with lua scripts still though, so that'd be either something to be made in the future, or something some kind talented sould will end up picking up. I head talks about the De-lagger being picked up by someone at one point? I dunno, but let's hope a fix is available soon ^^;

Well, Sayter said once that he wants to re-write ALL the code around bees, make them more of a pets and less of a factory-that-producess-things-out-of-air. Buuuuuuuut... that was almost a year ago, and so far nothing had changed =\

Yup, I think you're correct about this ^^ And I believe what compounds to the whole problem is that more than a dice throw, each apiary is running different tests and checks: checking for flowers around it, testing to spawn the items, testing for mutations, bee stings...

The code could definitely be streamlined so that it doesn't check that often for these conditions and simplify some of those checks. It's a shame lua is still outside of my comfort zone or I could take this endeavor myself ^^;

I may not need to, though, since there -is- a file called "apiary_new_concept.lua" file in the FU folders. Dunno how the development is on it, though...

If I get the thing, it is not about the bees as a units, but rather the way the appiaries work. The apiary works somewhat like that - every tic the AI throws a dice and sees, what option it gives: will it spawn honeycomb, or silk, or drone bee, or will the new queen leave the apiary, or will it do nothing. The problem comes in that EACH apiary creates unique process to manage its ticks, those 1 apiary = 1 process, 2 apiaries = 2 independent processes, an so on. Thos more apiaries = less free RAM = MORE LAG.

Ok, fixed! Somewhat. The recipe unlocking is a bit of a complicated thing, so I instead changed the crafting station, making it so it doesn't require blueprints.

Doesn't change much other than the frame recipes are also all available from the start. Added a second tab from them to make it less bloaty.

Would do, I guess. Would work for both new game and ongoing one, as recipes would unlock once characters picks up the queen... Yeah, that should work. Thanx for fixin this up )

Aw dang! Then that explains it ^^; Well, since I'm at it, I think I'll change the queen items to unlock the recipes on pickup. Not exactly like in FU, but it should do well enough I think. Will update it ASAP ^^ Thank you for pointing out this oversight of mine!

In the bee trades section - yes, all the trades are unlocked by default. I guess Sayter thought that there is no harm in lettin people know what there is to go after.

Ok, the recipe should be there, it just isn't unlocked, most likely? I'm not too familiar with FU's recipe tree though, so is everything supposed to be unlocked from the start at the bee refuge?
