this is not working with the masters of strategy mod, right? I've always used this in vanilla, but now that i tried moss, the game only crashes when i active this mod. any ideas? thanks

ashigaru are led by ahigaru taisho, an ashigaru promoted to nco or a low rank samurai

probably cause they use ancient japanese in the game, you can tell based on the words endings like Ja which isn't used anymore.

Aren't the ashigaru led by a samurai? If you look at the front of the unit there's someone in armor. Pretty sure "meijin" refers to him.

It's a cool mod, but I really dislike that you added the bugle sound in Vanilla Shogun. It kinda ruins it for me. I'd rather have incorrect Japanese that I don't understand instead of a bugle-call whenever I move my troops.

Yews 1500s Japanese would be way different and far more regionalized, there would have to different voices for Clans from each island and parts of Honshu.

Thanks for the patch. "Bai no hayasa de" is a hilarious mistake considering the game has overall good understanding of Japanese history. The voice actor has native Japanese accent. How could he ignore this huge mistake?

The samurai units in ROTS say "ashigaru" in their selection voiceovers. These voiceovers have different lines to the Sengoku ashigaru units, so it appears to be intentional (or just recycling unused lines). Perhaps the term carried different implications in that period? If not, it warrants fixing.

軍隊を速く進めさせたいなら、「駆け足」とかで命じるほうがいいと思う。それに、他の日本人から倍の速さでという言葉は可笑しいだと聞いてこのMODを作ったんだし。足軽の愚かさは知っている、奴らなら「拙者の命令は？」など馬鹿げたな表現をしかねないだろうが、問題はゲームの中に侍や騎兵などもこの音声データを使ってしまう。よって、削除にした。
