The facing forwards there is how the old aim worked, it didn't aim. And yes

the gun is always angled to the side. In the images it can face forwards without needing to ADS? I'm guessing this is going to be fixed in the remake?

I think it's just simple to make the weapon be fired from the hip like the M2 "Stinger" instead of just only on prone when you're gonna remake it.

There's already a model for the remake, but lately we were working on Cold War and thus it was pushed back.
Originally we also wanted to give it an script that doesn't let you fire unless you prone, so we were waiting to find the script but never did, so it was delayed even more.
Now i'm back to college (masters degree) so it'll take some more time for me to animate again

I um made the gun be the real size when i animated it; it's probably that Rf soldiers are slightly smaller than in HLL, or that HLL soldiers are a bit bigger

Yeah it's big but like even for it's standards looks a bit too big with the soldier models in this game lol

it was a water cooled american MG used by the marines in early pacific war

before it was replaced by the M1919 browning

Originally when you aimed it put it like that, so the idea was that you could only hip fire, but certain people complained so i changed it

not exactly sure why but the point of impact of this gun is super weird..... sometimes it hits exactly where i aim. sometimes it requires burst fire to hit something. sometimes it cant hit anything at all even my sight are right on the target......
