I still remember your last comment, but I think the cases are different.
If people don't wish to have these builds in their game, they can simply ignore them and download/subscribe only the ones they are interested in. I don't think there would be any problem.

In the other hand, why is it 100% bad to have some guns and houses purely for visual enjoyment?

Furthermore, these houses can serve as fully functional surface habitation units, thus suits in the game's theme perfectly, so even if you insist that any and all builds in KSP must be space-travel-related (which I disagree with), this is still reasonable.
