DDS only works with Vanilla weapons, namely gatlings. You will need to use a different script like Whip's. Whichever you go with I recommend reading the script's own descriptions on use instructions.

800m, same as any vanilla turret seeing how this uses vanilla turrets to designate. Modded turrets obviously yield longer ranges.
