pretty sure they do more AP, idk i gave them empire crossbows so if the SFO team changed the empires crossbows then it’ll affect these ones. I don’t play SFO so i don’t really keep up with all the stuff they do

What benefit do the crossbow men provide over the peasant bowmen? They do less missile damage, have fewer models, less leadership and less ammunition? The only advantage they have is more range. Is that intentional?

Finally, I found the mod I was looking for that adds a proper SFO compatible Bretonnian longbowmen unit. I started a Bretonnia campaign for the first time and it shocked me they did not have longbowmen or crossbowmen lol and after a tedious search in the workshop I found this, I am playing with the Blessed Bretonnia mod as well which makes them much more enjoyable and balanced out. Anyway, I will wait patiently for this mod to update. Make those longbowmen deadly too haha! 🤙🏼

I'm not gonna lie to you, the veteran units are a part of a personal mod that I seem to have accidentally merged with this version. I don't own the unit cards for them so I'll be removing them in the next patch. Sorry about that

They're also not being affected by Repanse's "Champion of the People" trait. They ARE meant to be peasant units, aren't they?

Hey I just noticed that the veteran units aren't being affected by the "A soft spot for the small folk" and "Enchanting Beauty" skills of damsels despite them obviously being peasant units. It's only +5% physical resistance and +10% weapon strength after six skill points, but figured you might be interested to know.

potentially, but I don't know how unless sfo uses the same unit keys as me, try disabling the additional subunits mod, if it doesnt crash then its an incompatibility

Hey. I wanted to try this mod but my game is crashing when i turn it on. Is it possible this mod is incombatible with SFO additional units submod? Its only mod which adds new units to bretonnia

I think maybe the weapon strength could be buffed on some of the higher tier units, don't think it makes sense for base foot squire to have more weapon strength than greatsword variants. Maybe a slight buff for armored halberdiers as well? They're not labled as peasant units so the you cant buff them with the damsel either. Just a thought.

Yes, the number does reflect the changes peasant economy as well, there just isn’t a tooltip explaining the effect

If you mean the peasant economy icon then yes, it’s intended, I had to disable the tooltip as it was causing crashes. Something in the source code doesn’t like me editing the text on that tooltip

you need to get the script debug activator mod, activate it, play the game until you crash, and it will make a script log in your warhammer folder

Also, I found out my game crashes if I try to disband any lord I got from confederation.
I found way around it:
I replaced that lord in his army for another instead of straight kicking him.
I removed units and kicked the new lord.
That usually worked, but sometimes it crashed too. Sooo... after kicking the new lord, I just make save, load the game and then it works.
