It could just straight-up be an issue with having too many cosmetics installed, possibly too many cooked cosmetics specifically. In that case, i'm not sure there's anything i could do.

It might be possible it's conflicting with something VERY specific, but i obviously wouldn't know what. When did this stop working? What did you most recently download?
The folder I mean is (for windows anyways) Steam\steamapps\common\XCOM 2 War of the Chosen SDK\XComGame\Mods

As for the armor appearing as a black mass; i honestly don't know what could be causing that, seeing as it has a mod shader cache and double checking the Mod's .UPK shows everything should be set up correctly.
But, for some strange reason, toggling this on along with my UAC Elite Armor seems to fix the issue. Don't know if i accidentally cross-referenced them in the SDK or what, but it works. I'll put a heads-up in the description.
