Given that I really don't have time to do any work myself on a comp version of the map, I'm just gonna say it's fine if you want to go ahead and keep working on this. It'd be selfish of me to say "no, stop" and then not also do the work myself. Please do make sure you're basing yours off the VMF I released on tf2maps awhile back, as from the lighting in the screenshots I suspect you might not be, and it will already have groups, correct tool brushes, lighting, etc. You can find it here: https://tf2maps.net/downloads/payload-snowycoast-vmf.1524/
I'm still very disappointed that the comp community never attempted to reach out to me after years of wanting to work on competitive maps but since I personally have very little time to invest in TF2 map making these days, it is what it is.
I'll shutup now.
Of course I'm not taking any ownership for this map beside the two or three changes I did, and EArkham is still the maker of that map. I have my own stuff on my side that is already taking 99% of my time. Now he did not expressly stated that he wants it taken down, which is something I would have certainly done if asked so. I have sent him a message tuesday on TF2Maps.net to talk about it and am yet to receive an answer, so in the meantime it's in stand-by.
However I'll be honest, I don't really feel like pursuing any takedown requests nor would I have the time to work on a competitive version if I did take this down, so I'll just state my disapproval here and move on.
