I call it my trusty 8-shooter when I play with my friends! I think it fits in a game with 30-round magazines holding 40-60 rounds. The best one is a double barrel mod I use for one of my auto shotguns- the character breaks it open and somehow stuffs 10 shells into it

I have to admit that I'm pretty embarrased how popular this mod is. I didn't do much of the work. Even the name is more clickbaitey than I'd be happy with. I think that arby26's SW29 is a better mod, really. I use that with my New Sound For Magnum mod, and a script thing to make the reload sound different from the normal pistol's. Maybe I'll release my sound edits for it as a mod.

Anyway- the HL2 Dark Python version of the mod might not have the flickering issue, but I don't really remember. I suppose these mods could a facelift.

the view bobbing still goes full speed even if youre holding shift to walk slowly or crouch walking. also the flickering textures are quite annoying. that being said, i still really like this model. if you could fix those two issues, this model would be perfect. :gordon:

Janfon1- There's only one custom animation set for revolvers in Left 4 Dead 2 (by Arby26), so they're inevitably going to end up looking similar. It's more about which gun you like and how well-made the gun is. I use this one sometimes because I love the look of the Colt Python, and other times I use Arby26's S&W 29 because that thing is really well-made.

@clan wolf It does reload crazy fast. Unfortunately, being loaded one bullet at a time would take some serious programming and new animations. The good news is, this can work on any server because it doesn't change the weapon's performance at all.
If someone were to make a script where it had a clip of 6 and a "reload duration" set higher, it would be about what you're looking for!

I'm not responsible for too much of this mod (I did the easy parts and built on the work of others) but I think you should feel free to use/modify it. Also pm me with any scripting questions, if you want.
