M¡am¡ Mouser- you'll need GCFScape to open up the mod's .vpk file. export the folder, delete the sounds, and drag the folder onto vpk.exe in L4D2's bin folder. This will re-pack the folder into a new .vpk. Move this vpk back into l4d2's addons folder, and you're done. hope that helps or at least gives you a place to start!

The problem is with the game loading the wrong sound, not anything I did wrong. the game will probably get it right the second time. if not, try the console.

that should either go away by itself the second time you load the game, or open the console and type 'snd_rebuildaudiocache' and it'll be fixed.

It's the same colors as the real gun, and I have a silver version uploaded as well. The sound error has only showed up for me once, and I don't know how common it is for others to hear it. It's not part of the sound file I made for the firing sound.

Oh! And also I almost forgot to mention I hate that glossy look it has to it. You should probably fix that along with the sound error. Goodluck!

I would like it if it was more silvery I dont care for its dark and brown color scheme. I like dark color schemes sure but I don't care for the brown. Good job though still, I don't know if it works though but life is trial and error.(same with programming and modding XD)

Sorry about that squeaking noise. I've only been able to recreate it once, but I'm looking into it. It'd be possible to remove the fire sound with GCFscape if that's of interest :)

Do not recommend. Sometimes I get a squeaking echo whenever I fire it in Dark Carnival in the Tunnel of Love.
