Hi Skharr - I'm the author of an overhaul over a year in development and I feel this armor is just an epic piece that can be used to add difference to various factions - in my case I've added them to a faction called the Poachers - who hunt Skeletons, as well as to Bounty Hunters. I've playtested it, and it balances really well. So I'd like to ask your permission to distribute this as an addon in my mod. Of course you'll be credited as a contributor, and be invited to join the closed beta to offer feedback when the time comes.

Big shame if you stopped with this mod. I checked this out and i'm very picky about modded gear for kenshi. I actually think its really fitting for the game. I hope you consider picking this back up at some point cuz its really very good and well rounded to fit the artwork of kenshi.

Good Armor

Love the armor, its the only chest armor my characters wear. Would love to see pants and helmets and maybe a shirt similar to the turtleneck. Great mod!

@Romara : Research bench lvl 3. You need to reserach "Reverant Leather Armor" and then you get the items to craft.

I added this into the game at research level 5.
I do not see these items available on my leather armor crafting bench.
Is an additional step required?

Btw, if some of you guys get some clipping with the thigh guard & pauldrons, it will be fixed in the next patch. Less glitching and clipping for everyone !

bit better then the merc leather armor. About cut +2%. Its more about the look, modularity and the player faction exclusivness. (And better cover.)

I'd personaly rather see this armor stay exclusive to player's faction, since there's no player-exclusive armor sets in base game

@Noble Gemini : I can arrange it, but the question is : Do you want to keep it special "Only for you" or do you want it to make it public. I can allow it to sell, blueprint and npc use. BUT you will lose any specialness.

Looks very nice, kinda reminds me of Japanese armor in 5th century, even before the era of samurai. I love it.
