Glad to be some help ;) And yeah I understand what you mean, but there are mods that add smoke grenades which is entirely fine for a modern or industrial setting, but the smokepop belts are high tech systems that automatically deploy when the targets being attacked. But i dont feel that strongly about that tbh lol. It's not too immersion breaking!

I'll post an update later today that removes shield belts. I totally forgot about them. I'm going to leave smoke-pop belts in because it's plenty realistic that people could pop smoke to conceal their movement when getting shot at.

@dninemfive Thanks for the tip. However, if I understand correctly that's what I did. I just used "PatchOperationRemove" for the items. Is that not xpath patching? Or did you mean I can just put all of the xpaths into one operation?

You realize you can just remove the defs via xpath patching, right? That won't fix the errors but it's a lot better performance-wise than hooking a bunch of methods. To fix remaining errors, you'll probably need a CE patch, but that's also fairly easy with patching.
