Ask Deadlox/Deadblox what his actual user name is.

It's impossible for the game to crash from a custom texture and model, the worst that can happen is your survivor becomes invisble.
Try reading some guides about game fixes or get support from other players in the steam forums.
Also, check to see if your mods are conflicting in the addons menu.
