I don't know if this problem was fixed with the new update or whatnot but if you have this mod enabled the game will crash

@Juujou it fixes by removing the coach's grunt swing audio played on fireaxe swing animation.

does this remove the voice or fix the voice on every survivor while swinging?

@Coach you don't actually. You only heard someone grunt when other player is using a fireaxe melee. Not on yourself.

I have never heard myself grunt while using that thing.

@JAiz Nah the ratings doesn't really matter, it's just depends people whether they want to use my fix mod or not. Also that Coach's grunt sound played on this animation called "axe_swing_ne_w_layer". it's an animation that the survivor swings the fireaxe for right to left while legs moving. Sometimes it plays other fireaxe animations so the players wouldn't notice the sound.

People saying it's been fixed, it hasn't, it's simply exclusive to the fireaxe, so chances are people have no been using the fireaxe much as, if i recall correctly, grunts only play after the 2nd or 3rd swing and only on individual infected, at least that's when it plays for me (making it most common on dead center map 1)

@PopTheseFools Most likely on sourcemod, You had to install sourcemod, metamod and a vdf file for this game to set up a sourcemod folder then you can download the "all survivors melee grunts" plugin for l4d2. I don't know if there's like some addons for that. But I bet it is possible to make a vscripts for the melee grunts for the survivors.

Is there any publicly availabe mod that restores all survivors fireaxe grunts? I've hear them on some third party servers.

@֍Taco֍ I'm pretty sure I understand not everyone aware of this Coach's grunt, most probably you guys were too focused on gameplay or maybe the music or the sound of zombie hordes must have covered the sound of coach's grunt. The sound can only play when someone is swinging the fireaxe. Not on yourself.

It sort of just.. happens, I was in single player too, not even a community server

Do this even happen? I dont have any "Coach grunt removers" installed in my game and i haven't heard 1 single orgasm since i bought this glitchy, beta, ♥♥♥♥♥♥ masterpiece 2 years ago.

@Maur0 that addon mutes Coach's grunt sound. You should read the description carefully so you'll know what I'm saying. My version is that it removes the coach grunts playing in the animation files.

Remove Coach's fireaxe melee grunts

l4d2 is just a rushed game, i know people have heard it before but l4d1 could have used a few more dlc packs before l4d2 was released, l4d2 could have been a dlc for l4d1
