This is a great idea for a mod! San Francisco is a lovely font and the Stellaris default fonts are incredibly awful.

I'd like to request you make a version of this mod at double size, so I can use it with the scale_ui mod. Although, I'm guessing that you just ran San Francisco through Bitmap Font Generator? If it's that simple I might try it myself!

Is there any way to increment the size of the font by a couple of pixels?
I can read slightly better with this font but still, need the size to lessen the eye strain.

I've tried several over the years and this is hands down the best font mod. Just placed it above Dynamic Overhaul and it worked out of the box.

@Kaptem Yes. It's pretty much compatible with everything unless it also changes the font. And even then it's still compatible, and just depends on load order.

@anaphysik I realize this reply is a bit late but you will likely not have support from most font mods for extended symbols. The fonts used in the game are textures generated from the base font (a tool like BMFont is an example program that can do this). You have to specifically export characters from the font to the texture file, and the program generates a ".fnt" file with it to define boundaries and kerning.

Long explanation aside, I think it's entirely possible to export those characters, however they greatly inflate the size of the texture file. I'm not sure what the limit is but after a certain size Paradox's engine isn't able to handle the file. Couple those symbol characters with Latin, Cyrillic, and Greek characters, the size gets big, very quickly.

Hi jmxd, thanks a lot from France! This mod is very simple but so efficient! It's a indispensable mod for me, now!
It's very useful for long and compact text and I use it in my own mod (collection of empires with long French stories). So, I took the liberty to advise people to use this in my own mod description, I suppose you don't have any problem with that. :)

Yes unfortunately Steam has a horrible image carousel. I've changed the previews now to make it easier to see the changes.

I don't have photographic memory for tiny text details and don't know how to flip through preview images back-and-forth without 5+ clicks, so comparing text from preview images was pretty much impossible for me, couldn't tell if there was any difference, and whether it was positive.

Created these side-by-side previews to fix the issue, though to link in case it might be useful for you to use or other people to compare too:
