Updated for DEI?
Drax70 28. sep. 2024 kl. 1:16
Hello @phazer!

I think the mod needs an update for the DeI mod..!
As @Ghostx said, the new buildings that DeI adds, look really off! :steamsad:

Thanks!
MissAlice 19. maj 2024 kl. 0:01
Can this crash the game?
Ghostx 20. nov. 2023 kl. 9:36
Most recent DEI patch adds in a new appearance for main city building chain but it appears with vanilla/default textures. Can this be updated to retexture the new building?

Great mod!!! I have only a small question: why are the eastern cities so blue? Were they really like that?
Shatilov 16. maj 2023 kl. 14:04
@Ihavemanybullets That is because you have crossed the Mod Limit set by Rome 2 Mod Manager. decrease the number of mods used.
Ihavemanybullets 14. apr. 2023 kl. 10:35
I get invisible officer faces when I use this mod for some reason, currently playing the empire divided campaign.
AstroCat 28. jan. 2023 kl. 4:43
Yep, still working for me with latest DEI beta. :)
Terendelev 31. maj 2022 kl. 20:39
Mod still works, using it with DEI 1.3
Kharn the Bloody 24. feb. 2022 kl. 5:39
Does this mod still work? Anyone know if it's compatible with Dei 1.3 Beta? How to see if the mod is actually working? Does it work for all cities or just certain areas?
phazer  [ophavsmand] 25. nov. 2021 kl. 7:40
Yeah, it is the final version :)
The is an older version, just called "HD Cities", which looks different, not as good I think,

The other ones called "Barbarians" etc, is just that type of cities, and then the rest are not changed.
RECKLE$$ 3. aug. 2021 kl. 11:48
is this the final version of your cities mods, all types are in here? i dont need to subscribe to the other ones?
phazer  [ophavsmand] 22. juli 2021 kl. 16:32
It is compatible with everything, as it is just replaces 3 texture files. There is no risk of conflicts or save game mess-up or anything. You don't need to start a new game either.
Wolff94 1. apr. 2021 kl. 12:24
is this compatible with save game? or do I need to start a new game?
ruseruse21 31. dec. 2020 kl. 2:12

Ragnar LootBlock 13. dec. 2020 kl. 14:49

phazer  [ophavsmand] 1. sep. 2020 kl. 6:03
Standard. Not changed.
steesh86 4. juni 2020 kl. 7:31
What Brightness & Gamma settings are you running?
Ben Dover 29. apr. 2020 kl. 6:40
Thanks.
MasterQueef 28. apr. 2020 kl. 19:22
do you need to play on extreme to notice the dif?
phazer  [ophavsmand] 26. feb. 2020 kl. 2:45
I guess I could do that, but then if would just look like plastered wall = all white, as the romans usually hid the brick under concrete and white wash as you say. Would that not be a bit boring?

Also a lot of the textures are shared, so it is possible that if I change the textures for houses that temples or something else also will be affected..
Ferrdo 23. jan. 2020 kl. 8:00
Love this mod! Coupled with the close zoom campaign camera, when you build a new building you can really get in close and inspect it.

I have a comment about Roman buildings. I noticed that most of the masses which I assume are supposed to represent houses and insulae appear to have stone walls. The Romans were known for their wall constructions of bare brick, brick faced with stucco, and concrete.

Just wondering if a more muted stucco stucco texture would be more appropriate.

@everyones :
Here is 3dx max playing an animation that my program has extracted from Rome2:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JcJI_DM-BR4

I have finally gotten animations OUT of Total War games, so people can edit them and put them back in the game My program RigidModel Editor 1.0, that can do those things will be released as soon as correct the last few bugs. It can do lots of thingd, including drawing the models with textures, lighting normal mapping, so they look like in-game.

Thanks :) If you have any ideas for changes, then let me know.)

i like it:csgostar:
phazer  [ophavsmand] 16. juli 2019 kl. 1:33
Yes it should work with Radious, as this mod only changes ONE texture atlas, and it is NOT one that any other mod changes, so there should be no conflict, it even works with DEI.
NoProb 14. juli 2019 kl. 7:14
Does this work on Radious mod?
Jason Wolf 9. juli 2019 kl. 7:04
I need to try it. From what I heard it should be okay.
phazer  [ophavsmand] 9. juli 2019 kl. 6:54
Jason Wolf: Did you try it with the aqueduct mod? I have used an aqueduct mod alongside my city mods many times, I just have to make sure that the textured for aqueduct fit.
Jason Wolf 2. juli 2019 kl. 4:33
Okay thanks.
phazer  [ophavsmand] 1. juli 2019 kl. 5:07
Jason Wolf:,Yes, that should work, but it changes the textures for the aqueducts too, so they look different (better) then vanilla:)
Jason Wolf 22. juni 2019 kl. 10:52
Aqueducts (DeI version)?
Jason Wolf 22. juni 2019 kl. 10:51
Will this work with a mod that adds aqueducts?
phazer  [ophavsmand] 4. juni 2019 kl. 3:41
I have finished the Dei Campaign Camera SubMod:
https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1760624445

You have to switch the vanilla Campaign Cam mod off, when you use this, because the vanille one can change the behaviour of DeI in a bad way. That is why is made a special mode for DeI.

Please try it :)

@everyone:

Updated camera mods, adjusted battle camera and fixed campaign camera

The campaign camera mod has been updated so it works without any issues for the following campaigns:

- Grand Campaign
- Imperator Augustus
- Cæsar in Gaul
- Empire Divided
- Rise of The Republic

https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1497092498

The battle mod camera mod has adjusted so the the movement and rotation speed fits better with the longer ranger, and min/max height is also slightly adjusted.

I see, it sounds complex - I'd love to see what the screenshot would look like - red and blue colour was on every column?

Interesting
phazer  [ophavsmand] 10. maj 2019 kl. 13:44
I have already tried that, spent a lot of time on it, too.
I'd have to change certain areas of the atlas (map of textures) to red and blue respectively, but the exact same areas are used for things like the amphitheaters, wells and much else, and then the columns were red and blue and looked really well, but the blue and red color also appeared where they should not be, because the column textures are used for a lot of other things. Aside from the columns a lot in city looked really buggy.

I can try and look at again, but as the original texture was only 64 pixels wide, I don't think there is a way to separate "column textures space "from "public building texture space", I am quite sure it is the same area.
•LGA• Cyrus: Emperor of Mankind 10. maj 2019 kl. 13:15
So even if you add in the colours, it doesn't look like as shown in AC Odyessy - even if you use bright colours it doesn't make it look good?

Can you show screenshot
phazer  [ophavsmand] 10. maj 2019 kl. 11:07
I have tried making the columns red and blue, but the same texture is used in many places so it just became an ugly mishmash of ourtof place color.

Greek cities - AC Odyessy
•LGA• Cyrus: Emperor of Mankind 9. maj 2019 kl. 14:30
Hi,

After seeing the Roman Cities in AC Origins and the Greek cities - would it be possible to colour the Temples in blue and red? Ancient Cities were more colorful than we give them credit for - I would certainly love to see Rome get a lot of red and gold colours in this.
