It hasn't been tested on multiplayer. I doubt it would work.
In the main menu click the Mods button, and select the mod you want to load, once its loaded, a popup should say that a mod has been loaded. If you restart or close the game, the mod will unload. If you do not load a mod at the main menu, then the effects of the mod will not activate, even if youre subscribed.
You can set the esp var to 0 to disable that white circle

What map are you running it with?
You type these commands in the yellow developer console.
Which can be opened by pressing the grave key. It's the key that's above Tab, and below Escape, and to the left of the (number) One key.

you have full unobstructed view of the zombies, however since it checks for visibility at feet level, it cant see past the barrier that is only a few inches tall. therefore even if you see the zombie fully, if your feet cant, you cant lock on.

If there are no visible zombies, then it selects the closest zombie regardless of view angle.
