The same happens with Wurrzag when confederating - as you mentioned it might be best to disable it?

Yeah, I have have explained, I sadly can't do much about that... Outside of removing completely the confederation names, which I'm starting to concider as a final solution.

@[HN] Hi man! Wonderful job. Just like ポプ , I am experiencing this side effect too. In particular, playing as Grom: my faction, 'Ardboyz and Teef Snatchers all became "Da big Waaaagh!"

Yes, its sadly a side effect of having confederation names, they apply to the whole race and thus when different factions of the same race confederate they end up with the same name.
What factions in particular are you refering to?

The most note worthy changes are the following:
Heralds of Ariel > Sisters of Twillight
Sisters of Twillight (LL) > Naestra & Arahan
Broken Chainz > Black Skullz

Removed some confederation names to avoid dup faction names

There's only one version, but I plan on taking a deep look at the confederation problem with the next DLC.

I get many subfactions with the exact same name (ie. Da Big Waaagh). Is there a version of this mod which doesn't change the names to the confederated ones?

Do you think you could go out of your way to make a "patch" or different version of this mod with confederation names re-added? They add a lot of immersion to my game and if you could do that it would be much appreciated! Regardless of your answer, thank you for time. 👍

Sadly most of them had to be removed since each races can only have one confederation name it ended up with different subfaction using the same name after they confederate separatly.

Does this mod have confederation names? Because I'm certain it did. I've been playing with it for a while now and mysteriously confederations don't rename my faction and it's really disappointing.

If I play as Von Carstein and confederate/conquer the other vampires or am the only vampire counts faction left, will my faction still be renamed "Vampire Counts" as it does now, or do I get to stay "Von Carstein"??? Because Vampire Counts is such a silly faction name, and I hate it. :(

I need to play a bit more vanilla game to be sure. But, for now, I have the feeling that HE don't confederate as much as before (feel free to give tell me your experience) so I may bring the confederation name back.
Also, the greenskin confederation will go now that they confederate Norsca style.

Sadly, the game doesn't support confederation banners, and trust me, I would have LOVED that.

Ah I see, cheers! And what I meant about the banner one was, it'd be neat if when you confederated, you'd get a Lothern style banner or something, rather than say Eataine, like a united ulthuan banner. Just a thought. Love your work!

The banner mod don't change names anymore.
I'll have to check but iirc, I had to remove the confederation name of the HE to avoid the "lots of factions with the same name" problem.
I'll do a new pass on all that with the next DLC.

Weird thing, confederated Chrace as Eataine, but didn't get a confed name change or anything. If used in conjunction with your banner mod, would the banner change on confed as well?
