Apologies, I'm at fault here, it's not this mod it was a shopping mod expanding the shop offerings, some reason it was bring up old truth two swords, those are the mk0s I kept getting by the way, I got rid of it and, though I'll keep an eye out, I think that's got it, sorry I bothered you over a mistake.

I didn’t really alter the inventory of anything in the game.

For example, a skeleton will spawn with a skeleton smiths weapon before or after this mod. My mod just gives a greater number of skeleton smiths weapons that are available to potentially spawn.

What is the manufacturer of this Mk0? It doesn’t sound familiar.

I'm having a weird issue where mk0 weapons are appearing in shops, is there some reason for this? I don't really want them about since they seem more like a glitch, I'm happy to just ignore them but I was wondering if you knew since I *think* it's this mod, thanks.

You could also just try a mod that adds Edgewalker 3 research. As my mod was added an existing game, you might have to use a mod adds the EWG 3 research more aggressively. A new game would probably clear up all these issues, but I understand not wanting to start over.

EWG 3 is the only level added by the mod. EWG 1-2 are from the base game. I’m assuming it’s not showing up due to a conflict. Do you have any other mods that alter research?

I think is easier to tame new animals, but thx anyway for the mod and the help! Btw can i ask you... in the tech tree i see Expert Weapon Grades 1 and 2, this last one unlocking 02 grade weapons (i assume with critic chance to get 01 quality). How do i unlock the EWG 3 to craft 01 grades and have critic to 0?

There’s a guide for using the FCS to load and edit the save files here on Steam. I think the platoon? data in the save files has equipment if I remember correctly.

Yeah a new playthrought is always the best course. But i'm gonna try the save editor, you had a good idea!

edit: i'm in my animal archive and i can change my skills, sadly i see nothing to change the equipped weapon :(

The simplest solution is get new animals after this mod has been installed. They get their proper weapons after that.

I also wonder if you could possibly use a save editor to change the animal’s equipped weapon?

The weapons that animals receive are random but related to their faction manufacturers. The Catun Bug affects NPCs & player entities when this mod is loaded into an existing save. If the bug happens for one of your people, you can just discard the weapon but not so for an animal. It’s usually recommended to start a new game with overhaul mods and problems like this are usually why.

I reinstalled the mod several times until once the damage was normal (only tested with one animal) so i assume ifthe Catun 1 bug is random, there's a chance your animal does not get it . But i didn't test in all animals and i don't think this is the solution.

Any idea?

Did the animals exist in your save before you installed this mod? Animals use hidden weapons to deal damage. This might just be the Catun No. 1 bug. You could try an import.

The weapons are graded using the system that is already built into the game. I expanded on the manufacturer system that already exists. Some weapons are generally low quality, like ancient or unknown, while some are only high quality, like edge walkers.

The NPCs are still going to wield the weapons from manufacturers they are allowed to have, i.e. bandits carrying rusty garbage, the variety is just increased. Some of that rusty garbage might be worth using.

Does anyone else find this mod hecking confusing?

i like the extra grades but trying to work out what order everything goes in, yes even with the chart pictures, is super confusing.

The number of weapons available have been increased by adding new weapon levels. All weapons are graded numerically.

Manuman: If I understand you, this mod adds a bonus of +10% cut and blunt damage to your self manufactured weapons. So yes, it fixes something I thought was unfair.

Aitee Bahgyoo: I would prefer if you made it use this mod and make your mod a dependency of this one. There’s so many variations of this mod around already. It would be easier for the future if I actually do an update someday. For just your own use, do what thou wilt. :praisesun:

no tengo la menor idea de cómo funcionará esto, porque apenas y pongo atención a lo que crafteo, pero aparentemente no puedo apuntar a crear armas para la venta o el uso propio sin ser obligatoriamente inferior en cuanto a estadísticas, a comparación de armas del mundo... así que instalaré esto por las reseñas, y por mi tocs a no estar rindiendo lo suficiente con mi trabajo (su trabajo??) :)

You get +10% cut and +10% blunt damage on Homemade weapons.The Homemade Manufacturer bonus' tool tip is covered up by the player crafter’s information. It’s still being added though. The bonus information tooltip will appear when you sell and weapon to a vendor and then exit the barter menu. The merchant will remove the crafter information on resell.

To those wondering, the mod works fine, however some handmade weapons don't get or don't show the bonuses. Haven't figured out if its just visual, or if there's a way to fix it. However I have seen that all of my desert sabres have the bonuses, while my katanas dont.

Do i have to learn every single weapon level to be able to craft edgewalkers? because i learned edgewalkers 3 and still i'm only able to craft Order Forge III with a level 88 blacksmith

Alright, so I have...Almost no real clue how I did it, but I shuffled enough stuff around that Luxury weapon smithing is compatible with this mod, at least with the test I did by making my main blacksmith boosted up to skill 100, they'll make the two prettiest versions of weapons.

This mod allows you to research Edgewalker quality weapons up to Edgewalker 3 and then you can have a critical success that results in Cross (Meitou) weapons.

@kingstaaye That's good advice anyway. Backing up your saves is always a good idea. However, you should try an import. It will probably fix your issues unless it's a mod conflict. A conflict is possible if you are using any mod that alters manufacturers. :mhwgood:
