I think that is just how projectors work, they don't do subgrids. You can make a blueprint of the turret in creative and attach it, after attached you need to group the gun, the rotor, the hinge and the seat under a group that needs to be called "MART". Also change the name of the hinge to "Elevation" then it should work with mouse aiming.

i had everything yeah, i think the issue is cause of the rotor, that seperates the blueprint into 2 different grids. like a solar tower we have, thats seperated into 4 blueprints cause of the rotors

You sure you got plane parts installed? the gun is mounted on the plane parts hinge.

im having a small issue it seems with this, the gun doesnt seem to be appearing in the blueprint for survival mode. and i have the hydro engines stuff from the AWG mod too
