@christophe.poth hey man! i dont think there should be any issues, the only issues will come with new ship models (for instance the star wars ones, or the protoss, etc), adding classes or sections should not bother, tho i might say the ships will fall back in tech and power since they are predisigned. let me know if you had the oportunity to test it out! thanks!

@jordanclock ill check that mod out, i know that some modders use can_species_be_assembled as well, unfurtunatelly there are tons of mods and it takes a lot of time to read foreign code and create compatibility mods, i would gladly do so for my patreons tho ;)

This doesn't work with the mod Synthetic Evolution Enhanced. You both change can_species_be_assembled. I made my own compatibility patch by merging their OR after your rules and I confirmed this mod works again. I can't test the other because their change is to fix synth ascension still building robots instead of your own pops, but I think this will work. I can send you my patched file if it helps.

Do you think its possible for you to create some sort of criminal megacorp-type for Hivemind? It would be called something like infesting hivemind. The idea is you use food and influence to build buildings on other planets which decrease stability, increase crime and generate ressources for you. Not sure how many possbilities you have, it would be cool to kill off some pops or make them migrate towards the Hivemind and get Hivemind trait, something like that. Or create rebellions which spawn armies on the planet.

@vaalintine the Life Path is for enhanced pop building for the mid-late game. No, hive has a good/high pop at start of the game but falls in the mid game vs other empires/paths

the creators of life AP provides technologies that allow you to build space creatures in the shipyard, these creatures consume food and are build with food, alloys and other strategic resources for queen for instance.

If there is a incompatibility maybe you can fix it? At the moment I only use the Bio Thrall mod but I really would like to use this one too.

The issue for me at this time is down to how I play the game--only have one Hiveminded organic empire, and they're set up based on story-lore between I and a friend as much as possible.

To make use of the civics/APs here I'd need to fully flesh out some other Hiveminds from the combined universe I have with a friend

@Velaroz if you have my other mod (Complex Hive Civics) i strongly recommend adding the Parasitic Emryos civic to an AI, i think you will enjoy the personality

@Armok @overlordMGC @Domini the only rule that is modified is: can_species_be_assembled from the game_rules folder, not even the whole file. let me know if i can help you out finding out about compatibility!
As for compatibility per se, only vanilla shipsets are supported for the time being (from humanoid to reptilian)

Well made APs that, frankly, don't overstep any aesthetic bounds in my mind. If only I played as Hivemind/had a decent number of Hive AIs to shove these APs down the throats of.

@complex How good are you with portrait mods, I've been looking for a species portrait for my devouring swarm that screams "Hungry knashing of teeth" (something like the necrophages from Endless Legend). I've scoured the workshop and found nothing that catches my eye, heck they don't even need to move. I do not know how to mod or I would have done it myself.

This mod seems very interesting! Hiveminds lack many strong and interesting civics and most importantly lack in pop growth behind other empires in the lategame. So long as Paradox doesn't give Hiveminds more nice civics I will happily be using this mod.
