Any plans to make an SSE version of this mod? As a fellow Imperial loyalist, I would very much like to be able to use this mod again in Newrim.

The reason was apparently that the Legion we see in Skyrim is all local recruits, and not proper Legionaries (Hence why they're not simply mopping the floor with the Stormcloaks), but I like this all the same
plasmablade97 6. juli 2018 kl. 4:33
Is this mod compatable with DIVERSE SKYRIM?

@Imperial - No. I did try to balance things slightly more towards Imperials by only adding the other races in addition to the existing Imperials in the pool of spawned entities, but the game randomly picks from the pool. So you could potentially get nothing but Argonians through pure RNG. The likelihood of that is VERY small, but it's possible. So you'll *PROBABLY* see a few more Imperials than the others, but there's no guaranteed ratio.
Jeqavis 16. juni 2018 kl. 14:11
Is there a ratio of Humans to other races?

in the vanilla game you find wandering Dunmer that are going off to join the legion, but of all my allies in reuniting the Empire my comerades are only human, and the aforementioned singular Dunmer Legate. Thank you a hundred thousand times for this!
NugNug 6. jan. 2018 kl. 14:57
wish they use the same armor the legion weared in oblivion that was cool armor the imperial armor in skyrim though looks awful
Brother Katze 20. dec. 2017 kl. 5:12
In war no one is right , but i guess i'll have to side with the Imperial. Ulfric rebellion was selfish and a waste of manpower in my opinion.
DerAlleinTiger  [ophavsmand] 8. okt. 2017 kl. 11:11
Also in regards to the Dominion... no. They do NOT have the stronger military. They built up their forces for over 70 years, launched a SURPRISE ATTACK against an already-fracturing Empire... and they were brought to a standstill that resulted in a peace treaty. From then on, the Empire has had time to lick its wounds, reorganize, retrain, and generally repair itself (until Ulfric decided to waste lives and resources by starting a rebellion for the Thalmor - yes, he is a Thalmor puppet if you look at his dossier in their embassy). At the same time, the Dominion has been draining itself of manpower, supplies, and morale by fighting on and on and on in Hammerfell against the steadfast Redguards AND rebellions in their client state of at least Valenwood and I wouldn't be surprised if Elsweyr did the same. That's also assuming that the Altmer themselves don't have detractors. And all of this for what's really a single province of Summerset to handle. No, not in good shape.
DerAlleinTiger  [ophavsmand] 8. okt. 2017 kl. 11:06
I've made numerous comments previously in regards to that. Go look through those. To put it quick and short: First, Elsweyr (or the two kingdoms that used to be Elsweyr) are satellite states, not official Dominion states. Second, there are reasons Khajiit would not like the Dominion at this point in time. Third, one's race does not equal one's homeland. A Khajiit can be born in Cyrodiil, or High Rock, or Skyrim, or Hammerfell. An Imperial can be born in Elsweyr. Hell, in ESO I RP a Dunmer who was born and raised in Elsweyr and sees it as her own homeland, because why would she give a ♥♥♥♥ about Morrowind when she's never been there and finds its politics abhorrent? In TES, the races are not hiveminds. They are races of individuals, none moreso than the Khajiit.
GP 8. okt. 2017 kl. 7:30
I'm a loyal stormcloak, but I did find it a bit boring to face ONLY Breton, Nord, and Imperial Legionnaires in Skyrim. there needs to be more species in the legions

and no, the empire doesn't have the strongest military anymore.... the dominion does. it has the largest, but not the strongest. which sucks because the good guys should always have the best armies, not the bad guys. though I wonder y there r khajiit soldiers, because their homeland is part of the dominion.... but its skyrim, its suppose to have random mods :D
DerAlleinTiger  [ophavsmand] 13. juli 2017 kl. 13:09
@astonlikespie - Please check the Not-So-FAQ. It has a section that covers that.
Stoney0806 13. juli 2017 kl. 12:23
i havent seen any other races yet still just imperial, nords, and redguards
Dwatch Razgriz 6. juli 2017 kl. 19:17
Honestly, as the Legion is the greatest fighting force in Tamreil, their gear should also reflect that. Plate mail armor, stronger swords, more advanced bows, ect.
CertifiedDwarfLord 29. maj 2017 kl. 7:24
OK, thanks that clarifies that. (lets hope we dont get an argonian vs imperial war)
DerAlleinTiger  [ophavsmand] 29. maj 2017 kl. 7:23
Why are Argonians anywhere in Skyrim then? Argonians aren't slaves to the Hist. It has a very, very strong influence on them (to put it mildly) but ultimately an Argonian - especially one living outside of Black Marsh - could very well just decide that they want to serve the Legion. It's not like there's no precedent for it. While it is a fictional story even in the universe, they do have an Argonian Legionnaire character in the book "Horror of Castle Xyr."
CertifiedDwarfLord 29. maj 2017 kl. 7:07
I am not trying to be a jerk, but why are the argonians in the legion? The Hist wouold have recalled them back to their own armies.
Takumi 29. apr. 2017 kl. 4:37

By the eight, what a great idea. :solitude: thanks.

@Bad Karma - There is the RACE of Imperials, and then there is the Empire as in the Cyrodiilic Empire. The Imperial race's homeland is Cyrodiil, and thus they are the de facto 'head' race of the Cyrodiilic Empire, but Cyrodiil itself is a cosmopolitan region made up of all races from all across the continent of Tamriel. The Empire once spanned all of Tamriel, in fact, but between Oblivion and Skyrim was heavily fractured and split apart. That does not mean, however, that the non-Imperial races living in what exists of the Empire would suddenly disappear, nor would they be any less Imperial citizens.
Cold 6. jan. 2017 kl. 0:03
personally i think it would be better if they were all imperials.... considering its the imperail army
JaguarFox 31. dec. 2016 kl. 6:01

The Slender Man 23. juni 2016 kl. 20:07
This is great.. My First Character ever in skyrim was an Argonian and I was Disappointed to find i was the only Argonian in the Legion back then.. thenks for this one! =D
Mauranova 16. juni 2016 kl. 21:24
Its no doubt that the Imperial ary is based off of the Ancient Roman army. Not also to metnion that even though being gay in skyrim is 100% approved but racism and sexism are still sown deep into its roots. I am saying that Stormcloaks cannot really afford to segregate their army because they need a large fighting force where as the Imperial army can pick and choose who they want. Skyrim is racist(Or is it specist, bc u cant rlly call an argonian human. And if it IS specist, why are we enslaving horses who are a different species? #FreeTheAnimals lol).
DopeBrain 21. maj 2016 kl. 9:08
oh ok thank you for this :D
DerAlleinTiger  [ophavsmand] 21. maj 2016 kl. 7:57
I was going to find the lore piece for the Akaviri bit as I remember reading that a long while back. I can't seem to find it. If I happen to trip over it once more I'll link it; but even disregarding that... There's a reason the Imperials are known as the "Cyro-Nordics" in some instances. Technically there isn't even a true "Imperial" pure race. Colovians are a mixture of Nords and Imperials, the latter being sort of a mixture or off-shoot themselves with a fair bit of interbreeding with other races (though not quite to the severe point of the Bretons or Reachmen). The Nibenese are closer to what most think of when they hear "Imperial," that being a little less Nordic blood and bit more cosmopolitan. Technically both fall under the term "Imperial" but I guess you could think of them almost as different ethnic groups.
DerAlleinTiger  [ophavsmand] 21. maj 2016 kl. 7:49
Also, humans are FAR from 'purebred.' Most of them have descended from unions between original Nedes, or other offshoot human races, and elves from the time of the Ayleids. Bretons have a sizable amount of mer blood in them (though they are not truly half elven, more a sort of human 'mutt' with some elf in them). The Reachmen are basically the same even more of a human mutt. Imperials, from what I've gathered, sometimes have mer in them as well. Some even have Akaviri blood from the time of the Potentates, and the surnames related to such are actually VALUED rather than shamed.
DerAlleinTiger  [ophavsmand] 21. maj 2016 kl. 7:48
@GoldBrain99 - I think you lore there is looking a bit scruffy...

"Tying into the Legion's versatility is its non-discriminatory policy of recruitment. The Legion recruits individuals of all races and creeds into its ranks and benefits from the diversity of skills they all bring (although men form the vast majority). The Legion's strict standards of recruitment choose candidates for service on the bases of endurance, soldierly virtue, and trustworthiness, among others."

http://en.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Imperial_Legion
DopeBrain 21. maj 2016 kl. 6:50
The Imperial and the Nords are only the "pure breeds", so the inhumans aren't good for the legion.
Grotesque 15. maj 2016 kl. 16:41
the storm cloaks are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ heretics WE MUST CLEASE THEM FOR THE GOD EMPEROR

No debate in the comments.
Hitman 29. okt. 2015 kl. 16:31
True.
ExaltedPhoenyx 29. okt. 2015 kl. 3:05
I never tried this, but upon looking at it, it looks really good. I totally agree that there would be other races within the Imperial Legion, but the majority of the race would be human(simply due to the sheer numbers of them). This does give the diversity of the Empire, which most definitely will reflect the diversity of its standing army. So job well done on this and I might have to try it. I will add one thing, as this is the Fourth Era, the Imperial Legion has weakened severely since fighting the Aldmeri Dominion. It isnt as strong as the Septim Empire of the Third Empire, but still a force to be reckoned with.
DerAlleinTiger  [ophavsmand] 26. okt. 2015 kl. 23:09
@Cpt. Carter - I thought about that before but it's not quite the same. For starters, the Nords claim Talos as one of their own and say that Skyrim has always backed the Empire (which isn't necessarily true because Tiber Septim actually used the armies of Colovia to create the Empire but Skyrim has certainly been one of the more loyal provinces since its formation). So it's more like if George Washington created the British Empire that America backed for centuries until the there was a war and America decided it didn't want to abide by the treaty that the entire empire had to abide by. Really quite the "fair weather fan" sort of situation when you think about it.
Hitman 26. okt. 2015 kl. 21:23
I have never liked the stormcloaks until i started thinking how they are like us in the Revolutionary War. But i still always go with the Imperials.
DerAlleinTiger  [ophavsmand] 15. okt. 2015 kl. 18:27
@Crunchy Wombat - The answer to that question is in the Not-So-FAQ.
CrustyDuck 15. okt. 2015 kl. 17:32
can you do something like this for the stormcloaks?
