plus it just makes no sense. in Half-Life Alyx even adult Barnacles can't eat anything bigger then a poison headcrab if it does then it will just become the one with them.

I love all of the other classic monster mods but the OG barnacle just doesn't hold up unless the reddish color was toned down a bit and much of it's design altered.

I agree with the two comments below, but only half-agree.

I'm all for classic stuff, but this is low resolution and clashes with everything else. It looks out of place. if they were properly remade and look like they actually fit, I'd be accepting.

idk why you would want classic versions of NPCs and stuff in black mesa, the low res decals and models are out of place with the rest of the enviroment, you mind as well just play Half-Life 1 if you want it for the nostalgia

I know it defeats the purpose of a "classic" styled barnacle, but it's really weird when there's no decal. makes it look like they're not even connected to the ceiling

Really awesome, my only complaint is that it's a little bit difficult to tell if they're dead or not at a glance, though that's not really your fault.
