I didn't like this map, the part across the pond is unused and distracting. The jump out of the angled panel bangs you against the low net ceiling, so the move only works rarely. And the last jump to the lowered platform is hacky, hard to pull off and untelegraphed.

Blindrun
Lots of very quirky stuff in here. So quirky that my exploit to solve the chamber really isn’t all that out of place - and I only decided to keep trying to find the intended solution because it was obvious I had skipped the entire second half of the map. And I’m gonna be honest - I came close to giving up as I seen it was impossible to get the height required to place a portal through the grate on the far side , until someone asked whether it was possible to fling across the goo .

At first I thought that was impossible, but I just messed around until I found something that actually worked. Big flings aren’t your friend there - you’ve gotta do the fling-across on the first small fling or the angled momentum won’t convert. Not only that, you’ve gotta place the second portal almost immediately before you fall in to the initial one, and therefore you kind of have to guess where you’ll land. Due to the guesswork and quickness involved I can’t say I’m a fan of that maneuver at all - it’s a neat idea but it’s sufficiently difficult to execute that I wasn’t sure it was possible at all. It’s certainly more difficult than my cheese solution.

The second part’s moves are a little less tedious, it’s mainly just an exploration of how angled momentum converted to straight-line momentum will result in, well, more straight-line momentum . Still a little finicky though. Didn’t see what I needed to do straight away. I was afraid two blocks of momentum would be too much for the final fling, as I only used one in my cheese move - and that I’d have to do some other uncanny move to get up to the grate to give me only one block to work with. Glad that wasn’t the case :)

But yeah, can’t say this is a thumbs up for me. Maybe if the exploit I found didn’t exist. :P

Enjoyed: 4.5/10

Had to play Shadow again first before I figured this one out. It took me quite some tries to get the portal placement right, ended up in the goo a couple of times.

So you took the bad part of Shadow and made a chamber around it. Just perfect. Simply because I was able to solve it with that knowledge I avoid giving you a thumbs down for this...
