Its not realistic actually. Most AR's now don't have the function for actual switches. Yes, dual-stage triggers and bump-stocks exist but clearly dual-stage and bump-stock don't work like this.

but full auto converted ar-15s exist so not all of them are semi-auto

ar15 thats for armalite rifle 15. though not full auto out of the box they are often converted for law enforcement and government agencies.
