It should be working.
justin24004 14. sep. kl. 6:29
Is this updated?
Lopez 10. juli kl. 9:05
Thank you
Assailer  [ophavsmand] 10. juli kl. 7:37
Lopez, that's because the file size changed. You may change 2500 to 9999, but not to 10000.

If you absolutely want 10000, then you need to get the unpacked version of my mods from Nexus.
Lopez 10. juli kl. 0:14
Hi,thank you so such good mod.
I have a question,I try to change the range to 10000 but ttl destory this function.
Senjai 10. juni kl. 5:24
Yeah, but then that's opt-out instead of opt-in. Which is the opposite of my preference. It works for most people so no sweat, don't mind me :)
Assailer  [ophavsmand] 7. juni kl. 22:45
You can disable it by going into scanner mode.
Senjai 7. juni kl. 8:44
Ah i wish it was on press instead of fully automatic
Assailer  [ophavsmand] 2. juni kl. 11:17
no need to press any key. the on-board tractor automatically activates every 10 seconds and pick up nearby inventory items/ammo.
Senjai 2. juni kl. 9:20
Do you mean you have to press o to trigger the mod, or its enabled by default? Can we make it so the script only runs when you press "O" ?
Bart C.Bem 26. maj kl. 0:01
This is veeery good for picking up those dang crystals.. thank You!
Assailer  [ophavsmand] 23. apr. kl. 20:34
Well, it's a compromise. If all ships would pick up things, then most of us would feel it's too easy and quite certainly qualified as cheat.

This mod replaces the tractor beam 'press O to gather action', nothing else.
realHartman 23. apr. kl. 9:24
Unfortunate, I was wishing combat ship OOS can pick up items and I just use Inventory Collector to scoop all up.
Assailer  [ophavsmand] 22. apr. kl. 20:54
You have to be located on the ship.

To gather from large range, use the mod "Capital Ship Loot Magnet" which works for all your L/XL ships.
realHartman 22. apr. kl. 16:43
Does this works for AI piloted ships? Or only player piloted?
Mr. Мясо 15. mar. kl. 12:31
how to increase the range of the magnet area
Vehementis 12. mar. kl. 11:38
did some more testing and it seems at least for me it worked again when i disabled SirNukes Mod Support APIs
only other mod i had enabled was VRO.
so VRO + SirNukes Mod Support APIs seems to be the problem for me.
Vehementis 12. mar. kl. 11:25
i have the same issue...
i also have VRO installed. for a Test i disabled all your mods and i still cant right klick my ship on map.
so it does not seem to be your mod unless it presist if you save, disable mods and restart?
Assailer  [ophavsmand] 6. mar. kl. 1:30
VRO seems to be the common denominator here.
Lurtze1 6. mar. kl. 1:02
I have the same issue. I am using the following mods:
Apolgize for Attack
Better Kill Credit
Better Target Monitor
Capital Ship Loot Magnet
Fly-by Lockbox
Fly-by Looting
Inventory Collector
Reactive Factions
SirNukes Mod Support
TaterTrade
VRO Assets
VRO
Assailer  [ophavsmand] 5. mar. kl. 12:45
Interesting, I just asked a few twitch streamers and none had this problem. I'm really curious what other mods are in use for those with problems.
Wheat Tail 5. mar. kl. 10:22
Can confirm, I have same issue. Worst part is that it affect player itself. I'm piloting Hyperion and can't make other ships dock (or whatever) to it.
Paradonis 2. mar. kl. 3:16
Yes, I have the same problem as described below with right-clicking on my ships.
Assailer  [ophavsmand] 27. feb. kl. 21:00
no, this mod is very simple, it should not slow anything down.
MajorityOfTheInternet 27. feb. kl. 19:44
would it affect performance if its constantly on?
BeepBeep 27. feb. kl. 12:22
@Darrok78 I don't think the right click issue stems from this mod directly.

The following is from the VRO mod comments where a user states where the problem may be coming from:

Rekalty 26 Feb @ 11:19am
@Erebus @Cristoferr @Potttor @[Oms!]Divine*
This is a bug with the Mod Support APIs mod, it has yet to be updated and causes ships where the captain has inventory items on them to break right click menu. For the time being you can just select the ship with left click, use the Teleport To hotkey and talk to the captain to hand over the items, or use the Inventory Collector mod. Eventually when they pick up more stuff it will break again though, here's hoping the author of that mod comes back to fix it eventually, it's a rather crucial mod.
Darrok78 26. feb. kl. 9:27
Yes, thats very strange but I can right click again after disable fly by looting. In Discussions some players have problems with right-click since 7.5 and mods are probably the reason for this.
Assailer  [ophavsmand] 26. feb. kl. 8:50
That sounds very strange, I do not experience this kind of behavior. Does it happen to anyone else what Darrok78 is reporting?
Darrok78 25. feb. kl. 11:29
I use all of your mods, they are great. But since 7.5, I can no longer right-click on ships when “Fly-by Looting” or “Capital Ship Loot Magnet” are enabled and ships have items in their inventory.
Assailer  [ophavsmand] 22. feb. kl. 22:02
yes
SCP-729-J 22. feb. kl. 18:27
Does this still work in 7.5?
flacidmember 11. feb. kl. 19:13
Thank you for the suggestion.
I just had a look around and there are indeed many options in global orders for enabling and disabling what notifications are received. Unfortunately, none of them seem to included items collected to player inventory 😅
Assailer  [ophavsmand] 10. feb. kl. 20:51
Notifications are coming from built-in <collect_drop> loot command. Not sure how to turn them off. Can you check the global notification settings for your character? (I cannot run the game on this laptop right now).
flacidmember 10. feb. kl. 19:51
Would it be possible to add an option to disable the notifications received when items are picked up? It's not the end of the world, but I find after spending a 5 minutes looking at the map, my notifications become redundant because it's being spammed with all the notifications for stuff I picked up.
Akry 30. jan. kl. 11:31
oh, than it must be that one.
I do have that as well.
Assailer  [ophavsmand] 30. jan. kl. 10:29
If you are using Capital Ship Loot Magnet, then that mod works for all L and XL ships. Perhaps you want to disable that mod.
Assailer  [ophavsmand] 30. jan. kl. 10:27
Only affects player occupied ships (as pilot or as passenger, both counts).
Akry 30. jan. kl. 10:05
I have a suspicion that this mod also affects player owned ship captains even in low attention.
I constantly find my trade and mining ship captains inventory full of loot, like malajit, interface units, tuning softwre, and also spacefly eggs, AGI cores, and other illegal wares. its like they pick them up when they fly by a gate with a recent battle nearby.

The problem with this is that police patrols occasionaly interdict my ships and when they find the contraband they attack, while AI ships comply with the scan they do not comply with ejecting inventory so they get attack, and so all my ships get attack in the sector, miners are especialy allergic to this.
I so love the mod but I fear, if its really this mod, I have to turn it off because it can cost me millions in lost L miners.
Assailer  [ophavsmand] 6. jan. kl. 21:12
yes
Bop 6. jan. kl. 8:50
does it work with 7.5?
CreatorOfWorlds 3. jan. kl. 10:43
It works fine for me
Celestine 3. jan. kl. 8:41
Can you update the mod please?
Suni 24. dec. 2024 kl. 6:07
Does not work with 7.10
ButtShark 10. juli 2024 kl. 3:48
Would be nice if the mod would also pick up items from mining these weakspots on Asteroids like lodestone, unstable crystals and spaceflyeggs.
Assailer  [ophavsmand] 1. juli 2024 kl. 9:16
yes, it works with 7.0
dkmadk 1. juli 2024 kl. 8:03
7.0 good?
William Knifeman 27. juni 2024 kl. 22:08
As Buckey says it is a god send being able to rearm missiles on the fly with this enabled
Buckey 20. juni 2024 kl. 16:34
Just wanting to add this mod has been a lifesaver in certain Timelines missions!
Assailer  [ophavsmand] 26. maj 2024 kl. 23:58
The Mod first finds out what is the ship class the player is piloting (or present as passenger).
Based on that it will periodically pick up inventory loot in range.

If you are the pilot, then the loot goes directly to your inventory.
If you are the passenger, then the ship's pilot will get it.

So, yes, if you are on an NPC ship their pilot will get loot :)
