I get a bunch of customisation glitches and conflicts from this mod, which is a shame because the gear is cool

if you have WOTC, it works. If you want to equip the armor on higher tiers. look up unrestricted customization. you can also read the descritpion for basic information. a good skill to have when navigation the work shop. If you don't have time to read. we don't have time to help.

I was able to fix my problem by loading a different character into the character pool and recreating the character.

Latest update broke the customization... the soldier I had this equipped on is now invisible except for the arms and torso, can't even change to a different torso because the option is simply not there anymore

for some reason in the character creation i can use all the samurai parts but in game i dont have the head piece nor the torso or legs just the mask and the horns :S

Tech_Tefff, try looking under the Head options, shoulders, arms, thighs, ect... Sometimes the slot doesn't directly correlate to the physical place the armor is seen.

How do I remove torso gear? There's still bits of samurai armor on one of my characters clipping on the default kevlar armor. I can't unselect it.

Thank you for the mod. I had this working before but some conflict from the Borderlands Squadmate (Zero) caused it to not work in my last campaign. I informed the author as that mod had series issues. With Musashi's new animations and primary katana, this is pretty fun.

@sAiNtgOtEn - Ahhh I had a list of them, but off the top of my head TDECO slot should have 3 or so things if I remember correctly. There also was a list in the description, but I ended up losing it having to re-write it after every update xD Damn Steam am I right?

hi, can I ask what you add to each slot? specifically what's added to the torso deco slot?

@Hot Wheels Kid - You probably already figure it out, but the rope will disapear when you back out of the creation menu, it's a small and temporary visual bug that is a limitation of the game.

Is there any way to remove the thigh options once they are put on? I've got a Stenchfury modular armor set character and I wanted to check there wasn't any armor in the thigh section to put on, I see only Samurai cosmetics and back out, yet the rope is still put on

Some news, interesting I think.
I have been able to get a man (a rookie) wear the full armor. It really looks good.
I have tried with a woman : no luck. I don't want to suggest a geisha pack, as it will undoubtedly lead me to serious trouble with the ladies on this forum :)

I dont know whether there is a test on the gender. Anyway, the modern world suggests that ladies should be able to be samourai too, right ?
Strangely enough, converting a woman into a man does not allow the armor set to appear. I have therefore not be able to get my samourai (a lady by the way) to wear the armor.
I think that I will gradually grow the rookie samurai to become a real samurai.
One last thing : I had to remove the predator armour for the samourai one to become available.
And yes, of course, this is WOTC, with Musashi's overhaul.

It should show up in the Helmet, Torso, L/R Arm/Shoulder/Forearm, Legs, Shins, Thighs, Torso Deco (Every option covered). The mod shouldn't conflict with anything so no need to worry about that. Do any of the options show up? Also, I assume you have WOTC?

The Samourai pack definitely does not appear. I even tried to unsubscribe and resubscribe, but nothing appears.
I tried to install it mid campaign (I had already reached predator armor). I have another costmetic pack installed, but I don't see why that should be a problem.
Where exactly should it appear ?
In the customization menu for body, right ?

basically, I meant that some of the sleeve appeared (between the end of the samurai armor and the hand). But may I had set the arms wrongly, so it could very well be my mistake.

@Jessy - Um I don't see why not, it's only a cosmetic mod.

The update I put out should of added the samurai set to plated and powered armor sets, but not the heavy armor sets, but maybe I should? (still need to do heroes and anything else I missed).

I'm unsure what you mean about the arms?

I assume that one can install this mod mid campaign. I tried to instal it and nothing appears. But my armors have been upgraded and maybe that is the reason (I have seen some comments that seem to validate this comment).
I had tried it on a new game (I use it for testing mods) and it did appear, except for the arms where the normal arms of the soldiers continued to appear under the samurai attire.
Those are small details, which I assume you will fix quickly.
But this is a brilliant idea and it does look very good. I am therefore eager to be able to use it in my main campaign.
I hope you will advertise when you have made the smalll fixes.

@Leonida.99 [STW] - Well, this isn't the only mod that is only WOTC. To list the reasons:

- I don't play base XCOM as WOTC is just the better options from a gameplay and performance side of things.

- I don't have the mod tools for the base game installed, nor do I want to fill up more hard drive space with something I don't use.

- The setup for the armor uses all the different parts introduced in WOTC such as the forearm slots and torso deco slots.

- I also found Long War 2 to be less fun than WOTC, which is another reason I don't play the base game.

You should try getting WOTC when it's on sale, it's honestly worth it.

Fun cosmetic Mod. I made a samurai for myself mixing a few other mods to make a Samurai Class character that used a glaive weapon and called him Sanida Yukimura. He has been taring through aliens like butter and I enjoy it.
