there is a version with paper. And you can edit it with the mod-tool and edit it like to ever you want.

Would it be possible for a version that affects only the recipes in the writing desk from genmod and not the book bench recipes? what I mean is I want the book bench to retain paper->Book, but have writing desk with parchment+half-eaten book->book.
Right now this fix makes the available recipes in the desk and bench identical for me

if you use more building you need a compatibility mod, without a compatibility patch bookcrafting is broken.

I found that I have more building because it is a dependency for this. Does bookcrafting work at all without either this or the paper version?

Only loot and buy.

it is only a compatibility mod in connection with more building. Other research mods lead to incompatibility

Hey, question: So the only way to aquire books is to kill animals for halfbooks and buy them outright? I have so many research mods this might make a new playthrough extremely tedious.
Is there some other way to get books that im missing or no?

Alrighty, that fixed it, thanks Seelenschwarz! It was a load order issue. For me, had to have it: GenMod --> More Building --> Fix and its all showing up just fine.

check your loading order. GenMen -> More Building --> Fix or More Building --> GenMod --> Fix

Also, check if you are using a normal "writing desk" with the description "A writing desk to write books", I have just changed the ingredients of the books more building, machines/craftingbenches are unchanged.

I can't get this fix to work. The writing bench only accepts paper, and the book required for Ancient Science Book is just a full normal Science Book.
