To balance out the effect of loyalty suffer, it would be wise to increase the loyalty and pressure values as well.

excellent mod, no matter which one you use. City distance 3 makes the AI always settle within 4 tiles and makes them basically immune to loyalty issues, while their boosted production means they don't suffer a real penalty from poor efficiency.

If you want completely no overlap, you will have to use the other one. The maximum distance a city can work is 3 from the center. So if you use the 6, no city will overlap. Note that it will make city placement incredibly tedious though.

With this mod will there be overlap? I know that it's not such a huge deal in Civ6 but I like my cities have a bit of space.

This mod does not change work tile distance, only the minimum distance to settle a city

yeah but i meant increase the max size they can grow, since usually i get a nice city spot but there's a resource 1 tile outside the range

No it does not increase the size of the borders for a city. You increase those by accumulating culture.

it wont work for multiplayer but it works fine for singleplayer.

The mod does work but you cant reload a pre-set configuration.

enable the mod (despite warnings) then recreate a new game from scratch.

Yeah, but it is compatible. The only reason why that warning is showing is because I never added the line to specify that this mod is compatible with the latest version.

The devs made the change that you need to indicate the version, but yet modbuddy didn't have that option. The solution is to add the line in manually.

I left it like this because (1) I'm too lazy to reup, (2) it allows the user to have it off by default until they purposely on it. If more people wants that warning to be removed, I will add in the code to remove it.

Again, the mod is working.
