If you don't mind using mods, you could try using "Move It!". You can tune the settings so that it only selects props, and then after selecting the foliage you want to get rid of, you click the bulldozer on the mod menu.

I love the map. I just started a city. The low vegetation isnt removed when I lay roads. I cant erase with ELT brush and what not. Tried turning PLT and PTA on each and together. No effect. I dont want to have to bulldoze each piece of vegetation. Mainly becuse i am bound to destroy things i dont want to. I really hope to use the map. I ant wait to get to the harbor and build that port area. Awesome map! Thanks for any suggestions.

Truly one of the best maps i've seen so far

Well, most of the highways are vanilla 3-lane ones, although there will be some missing links in the big interchange. You could in theory open this map in the map editor and fix the missing links yourself.

I know it says u cant but is it possible to use this without Mass Transit?
