Thanks for the compliment! These ships are definitely a space-trains, hard to turn because of how SE gyro's work. You'll notice the longer the ship gets, the more pronounced the roll rate gets, but your turn speed stays basically unchanged. I'm waiting for Warfare 2 to drop and then I'll come back and finish out some new sections I started :)

I love these modular ships, I ended up assembling a few of my own custom ones out of parts - one had this refinery platform plus a cargo module and engine sections between each. It was a bit difficult to turn tho. XD I ended up making a shorter one out of the hydrogen command section, the ion engineering section, and a cargo container and light utility section.

Sorry my friend. I'd planned on it originally, but maintaining multiple simultaneous versions of the same thing turned out to be a huge amount of upkeep in addition to everything else. The ion version lacked the power to reliably haul multiple fully loaded container modules, which prompted me switching. That said, I love it when people have their own takes on stuff I've created. If you wind up developing a working ion-only command module, stick it on the workshop and holler at me, I'd love to see.

why the ship is not fully ionic but there are hydrogen tanks this is a hybrid not like on the screen shots
