How would one go about fixing this mod to reup?
...\Steam\steamapps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization VI\DLC\Expansion2\UI\Replacements
Look for the DefaultMessageHandler[KeyEvents.KeyUp] function on line #57. Replace the entire function with the text from this link:
https://pastebin.com/NC7zAtJK
The two City Banner/Unit Banner hotkeys are at the bottom. I use "U" and "L", change them if you desire. You can edit this file while the game is running and it will update the changes real-time without restarting. This isn't a mod, it's a hard UI game override, so it *should* work fine one-sided in multiplayer.
If a patch comes out these changes will probably get overridden and you'll have to do it again. ALSO if you are using mods that change this same file, the mod will override this default game one -- you will have to instead find Ingame.lua in the mod's folder and make these changes there.
How'd you do that exactly?
Regardless, I couldn't live without the hide city banners hotkey.
However, the function that needs a hotkey more than any other menu related option in the game is the auto turn. Still blown away they didn't patch it in. Any chance it can be added via this mod?
