to avoid pawns dying while removing roofs and mountains. excavate only two wide strips and then remove the mountain above them. This will always ensure support for the roof as they remove it.

do note that disabling infestations by removing the mountain roof isn't actually as good as it sounds; because of this, drop pod raids can now spawn where infestation would have

This is now broken on 1.3, can you please split the assemblies folder into the different game versions? Most all mods do this to ensure new versions don't break old ones

Yep, one of my biggest issues is it made the Tunnlers Ideology belief's mushroom gravel unbuildable

@Black Fox, the issue with that mod is (if I understand the description) it turns all overhead mountain roofs into thin rock roof, which don't stop drop pods or mortars. If you like to build into mountains that's taking away some of the major benefits.

That's why you have to remove the roofs when digging. This mod allows you to remove any roof. It doesn't remove it on its own. Try tunnels. Remove Roof. More tunnels. Remove Roof for an easy way to do it.

Great mod, but even with supports in place roofs will still collapse and kill colonists. Trying to dig out a under mountain farming zone with but with supports every 4 tiles i still get collapses which is strange because it usually requires a support within 6 tiles.
