- FIXED 'No equipment' error in reform program scheduler.

it says prisoners require a none to play the game and then are unable to do the reform program because they "lack needed equipment" how do i fix?

I looked into it, and ive never uploaded before. it seems like alot of work to package, if someone else wants to do it, ill provide the files.

@Typpi Thank you for sharing the fix. Worked fine for me i deleted every line saying "Equipment None" on notepad+ and now i can program basketball.

@Oven I just tested it and it works. Make sure you saved the file and deleted just the line specified.

I have a fix for the no equipment required:

Go to your

C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Introversion\Prison Architect\mods\XXXX\data

and open "reform_programs.txt" in notepad.



Remove the following lines:
Equipment None
Equipment None

This fixed other mods for me, I assume it will fix this one too. I havent tested it but I assume it will, also an easy fix for Murph to make once he sees.

No, it spawns lights during a game and those would be ugly outdoor ones on the court. Just put a fence around it as in the screenshots.

Is it possible to build either the half or full courts as an outdoor option? My half court casts a weird shadow over the rest of the yard lol.

Ah yes, I see... I thought I made it so it would turn everything into Dirt again. Guess not, because some would build it indoors which would then destroy half the building...

I guess you didn't use the Delete button on the court but just dumped it. Using the button would have turned the floor into outdoors again. Now you need to use the bulldoze tool in foundations.

Hey, how do I remove the restricted zone for courts? I placed a court and it deleted the walls to my security room and a large portion of the outer fence, after removing the court I can't make the floor back into dirt or replace the fence.

I gues you're on a mac since a hotfix for this issue was already released on friday.

Hey, there's currently a problem going around with some mods, including this one. After the new DLC, any mod with a custom room instantly crashes the game if one is placed or exists in the map. Don't know if this is fixable but I thought I should let you know.

There are no quickbuilds in this version.

No time and no reason to update it, but what should be implented? Consider good ideas going on a to-do list for somewhere in the next few months.

This is by design, otherwise it would spawn outdoor lights on the court when a game starts.

Is there a way to make the court outside/unroofed? Whenever I place it in my yard it crates a shadow over one part of the yard.

Did you turn on the GAME ON for that court? When it off then everybody is just roaming around.

It should work for all types, even guards. Either you did something wrong or found some exotic bug which 16K people who downloaded this mod before never noticed. I'm pretty sure the problem is on your end. Got no time to take a look at this code for now, since I'm too burried in the new advanced roads mod :) Will get to it once that one is finished.

it doesn't work using full-court, non-yard setup for medium security inmates. Followed everything to the dot, had it working with minimums with the same setup. These guys just don't want to ball, no one ever enters the court to play a game. C'mon!

The dummyboolean does what it says: it's there intentionally to be able to open the debug console since there is no way to open it without producing some error if you're not playing with cheats enabled.

I see no problem with room requirements, Basketball Fullcourt and Halfcourt work as expected without an error.

You should do a non-lethal mod. Deaths cost money so non-lethal replaces guns with transquilliser guns. There is a tranquilliser mod, but it replaces the tazer which is a bit pointless.

I got it working, but the room still fails, and it still gives the error, but they are playing. thanks. You should do a gang vs gang one that ends up with a massacre by the losing team lol

OK. I got rid of all mods I don't use. Got rid of yours and unsubscribed then once it was clean. I resubbed your mod vers 3.0 Everything setup as you say above, and as you mentioned below, I added the 16 x 10 full court room, then added the item full court. Added the staff. The Room fails basketball court, even though it's there, and I can edit it's options. If I open debug mode I am seeing an error:

ERROR: RUNTIME ERROR : [strong "..."]1597:attempt to concatenate local 'dummyBoOlean' (a bo and thats as far as I can see, since it seems the error doesn't wrap. I'm guessing this is what's causing the problem.

I think this is an awesome idea. Gang vs Gang basketball sounds wicked lol. Ends up in a shootout from the losing team lol

If the court doesn't spawn then the mod probably got corrupted while downloading, or you have broken mods loaded which mess up. The latter is probably the cause. There are no quickbuilds here. There is also no need to link the scoreboard in this mod. I've just tested with only this mod enabled on a blank map with cheats enabled and all works as expected, court spawns like it should.

I suggest you download the mod manually following the guide above, and clean up your mods folder to get rid of old incompatible stuff. If you decide to not completely wipe the mods folder, then delete at least folders 1618987722 (this mod) and 693956799 (old basketball mod).

The court doesn't spawn. Quick builds are missing. I made a room 20 x 16. Inner room texture of 16 x 10 marked with basketball room, outer as yard. Installed benches and ball bin. Room passes 16 x 10 failes as a basketball court. So this mod doesn't work. Installed 3.0 scoreboards, but there's no way to link them.
