I agree with Flippie_X. Odd portal maneuvers make for an interesting map created in Hammer. Loved the secret room with a quote from Cave about squids . Describes 99% of the content on the workshop. :P

The room is fantastic, the puzzles are a bit strange. Especially, the mid air adjustment you have to make for yourself.

Loved the underground cavern visual style. Took me a while to notice what was happening with each cube drop in that last room, just overlooked the big square button! When I noticed it controled the big exit floor the aha moment came!
Many failed attempts. I refused to no-clip until I solved it. Then I went around for about an hour just admiring the visuals in no-clip. Stunning.

The only thing I could suggest is a difference somehow to the 1st room water to the rest of the map. Dunked myself in to death in room 2. Didnt notice the water depth varied . The 1st room floor either needs to be shallower to show the floor better, displaced so the water forms "non-harmful pools" or have have sunk catwalks, or something.
Its the only bad thing I can think of improving. Awesome map.

Not too bad a map. I did things slightly differently: I did a bit of walking on the rail at the first fall-fling rather than drop down and use multi portals and for the final fling you can sneak a portal on the below-cage area from the lower level of the launch/cubeslide area that removes the walkthru extra step. Nice design, plenty of misdirection/extra portalable surfaces that can be considered sight seeing your 'magnificient creation' (lol). Some problems with portalable surface reliability, as even highlighted in your walkthru. Some texture issues and unexpected player-snaring/inhibiting architecture, though fairly minor. Generally fun. Thanks for making the map. Cheers.

I've got some pretty complicated logic to make the last jump easier to execute, but I just updated the map again and you shouldn't be able to get stuck between the panels now :)
Also that sign you made is really awesome, thanks for sharing it! I scaled it down as you said and it was a lot better, thanks for the tip :)

Really striking visuals. I liked it. But in the final jump, the door closed, then opened again and closed again, leaving me stuck inside the metal grate. I had to noclip out. Probably, the cube did activate the button twice. Could this be fixed?

Also, thanks for using my poster ;). You might want to scale it down, though.

Wow! This is amazing! I love it! Awesome design, really makes you think on how you can get around. If there were a Portal 3, you should definitely be on the development team.

Wow Jepp, after playing so many destroyed theme maps, i started feeling a bit claustrophobic, this was a total breath of fresh air. It looks amazing, just the scale of this map is fantastic. I really like the architecture as well. Hope to see more of this style of from you. Will give this a 5 in TWP.

i gave up after an hour. i'm pretty sure i have to fall into the 45 angle but i have no style, and you gotta be perfect to fall just right in there. maybe i'm wrong. more frustrating than fun...looks nice though.

I dont have a portal gun. Am I supposed to? I looked around for 10 min in the water room. Am I just not getting it?
