@mrwwww if your crafters crafting skill is poop they will make poop tier weapons. Regardless, those shoddy weapons are going yo do 10% more damage than vanilla shoddy weapons.You have to level your crafter a lot to make decent stuff, and unlock all the better tiers of weapons. Just google how to make better weapons in Kenshi.

@rav: The mod makes Homemade manufacturer bonuses equal to Edgewalkers. So crafted Edge type weapons will be identical to the originals, but crafted weapons of lower tiers will have slightly higher cutting damage than their original counterparts.

Does this mod craft better weapons than the "originals" as some people say and if so is it possible to fix this? I want to craft identical weapons not stronger ones

Have tested this in every possible way and no matter what I do, crafting edge weapons makes them shoddy.

This does not work. Everything I make is shoddy quality.

From what I've seen Genesis is just a issue all in itself I don't know why people like the mod, it's incompatible with literally everything.

Hunter_ u that is genesis' own issue in its self, i tested it without any other mods..

Hunter_ u must import save every time u start a new game. My mod have no impact on buildings.

I enjoy your mod, but for some reasons it breaks Genesis

Like, it causes buildings to overlap one another; Have no clue why or how, since yours is just allowing to craft weapons . . . lol. Just wanting to let you know or others who has buildings over lapping one another with Genesis mod at cities.

There are is only one hidden requirement, you need to be a little smarter than an amoeba.

Mod isn't working, or there is some kind of hidden requirement that needs to be met to unlock Edge 2, if other ppl are looking to craft Edge 3 weapons you'll not have much luck here. I subbed to another mod and it worked immediately without any nonsense.

Currently not working for me. I have a weapons bench lll, research bench Vl, and two weaponsmiths at 90+ , yet there is no available option any where to research Edge 2.

how do you get research Edge type 2 ? i have only Edge type 1

Отличный мод, однако стоит упомянуть, что в случае использования ретекстуров оружия (например: Weapons look metallic ), данный мод должен стоять выше ретекстуров в списке загрузки модов, иначе все Edge 3 будут с голыми мешами без текстур

Does this mod have the "rusted crap on crit edge 2" issue as someone suggested? I would very much like to craft Edge 3 but not Meitou (as another mod offers to that apparently does not have the above mentioned bug).

А эта технология сама должна появится, или для неё нужен чертёж, или какой уровень иследовательского станка? У меня VI.

@Booty Scuba Diver it's only opens the possibility to crit for type 3, you need skilled weaponsmith to actually craft them

this mod Does not work I have the option to craft ET3 but when the come out the are rusted scrap am I doing something Wrong?

@[IMI]Tavo Yeah, the 10% buff makes them identical to edge type 3 and will affect all weapons you craft, even catun/skeleton to be better than originals.

Do this edge type 3 have the same values as the ones owned by shops? or are they a nerfed version like when you craft edge type 2 and they have lower stats than the weapons you buy? Thanks in advance.

never made sense in vanilla to be unable to craft the best quality weapon type under meitou, now weapon smithing isnt redundant!

@Shep The first weaponsmith building can only make weapons up to Catun 1 on a crit, the weaponsmith II is needed to make better weapons, and a weaponsmith III with advanced weapons research is needed to craft edge 3.

This mod is only relevant in the mid-late game for the average player. I consider it a great convenience as arming a large squad solely with vendor purchases gets quite tedious.
