Hi Do you have any details of what you are doing when it crashes? Does it happen for any particular routes? Does it happen all the time or only some times? Do you get any errors in your game.log file?

@danbyization Thanks now it does not crash anymore:steamhappy:, but there still is a problem.

There is a 50:50 chance that a Polish police car will spawn as an escort in Portugal, when it does work a Portugese GNR Škoda spawns.

Hey, I am experiencing crashing when starting a special transport from any city in Portugal.
Anyway....this is the error that I get:

<ERROR> [fs] Failed to open file '/def/vehicle/ai/superb_iii/pol_gnr_esc.sii' in the read_only mode.
<ERROR> [fs] Failed to open file '/def/vehicle/ai/superb_iii/pol_gnr_esc.sii' in the read_only mode.
<ERROR> load_unit() - Failed to open file (/def/vehicle/ai/superb_iii/pol_gnr_esc.sii)
<ERROR> [traffic_vehicle] Unable to cache model instances!
<ERROR> [traffic_vehicle] Unable to cache model instances!

@[FC-D] JustNuts thank you for letting me know about your issue that you encountered and for providing me with all the details. I have just completed that route myself and did not encountere that issue. Therefore it seems like that the issue you experienced was most likely caused by a conflict between my mod and another one that you have downloaded. I would reccomend deactivating all your other mods and trying them one by one to see which one is causing the issue.

Hi, I encounted a Bug with this Mod. I was driving a Special Transport from Munchen To Innsbruck. When i went into Austria, my game crashed. When i looked into the log i found the following.

<WARNING> [model] Model geometry '/vehicle/ai/vw_touran/ai_police.pmg' has incorrect file version 506d6714 - expected version 506d6715. Converting...
<ERROR> [model] Unknown variant name 'austria' on model '/vehicle/ai/vw_touran/ai_police.pmd'
<ERROR> [model] Unknown variant named 'austria' in model '/vehicle/ai/vw_touran/ai_police.pmc'.

So its appears that there you made a mistake, i assume not on purpose with the Austria Police.

Otherwise the mod is awesome, but in the meantime i will need to deactivate it to continue my journey

i like to see that the back car is also a police car and i noticed when iam using this mod that the police car is driving alot slower then the normal escort van.

@ScaniaType83 I am not currently aware of any issues with this mod with the 1.35 update and this mod however if you do encounter any issues please let me know and i will look into them.

I´ts a very nice Mod and really working good but could you maybe make it so that the Policecars are changing on Borders? F.e. an Austrian Policecar never drives thru to Brno. That wont be allowed by the Goverments of both Countries.

@Aflaf I have heard of that issue happening on vanilla games. If you are able to replicate it please report it on the SCS forums so that SCS can have a look into it.

@DKK007 Its a good mod, did 3 Special Transport DLC jobs with the mod ,not too sure if its a problem with this mod but the police and my escort decided to ust escape me and leave me with the Cat truck on my own lol.

The mod is in the workshop directory of steam.
Folder 227300 contains the mods of ETS2 and this mod has number 1606905669.

Like: C:\Programme\Steam\SteamApps\workshop\content\227300\1606905669\universal

Very good mod.

Hint: This mod only change the front car of the escort to a police car.
If you want this for the car behind, too, you need to change the file
"traffic_storage_escort_back.sii" in the same way like the "traffic_storage_escort_front.sii"
in this mod.
