@Ocean Man Yes the mod is compitable with R.E.D and most other mods.
1. to many barbarians, except for england and celt there are to many barbarians and you get swarmed by them
2. on some capitols are no luxury resources London,Moscow etc.
3. the timelimit, I think this scenario would be truly great with out a timelimit
but it is stil fun to play and the map is good sized
Anyway, I like the map :-)
You did a really god job making it feel realistic, they are quite immersive.
I've been brougth here by BAstartgaming on youtube, he plays on your standard play europe map, I personnaly prefer playing on huge maps.
This one is actually perfect for that. But it lacks the updates that you did on the standard play europe map, the possibility to play Babylon, the position and number of the city states, etc.
Are you planning to update this wonderfull large size with the recent modifications?
If you are currently to busy to do so, could you give me a tip on how to add more civs in the civ5 worldbuilder ? I'm stuck with the 22limit and dont know if the dll change files on your mappack description could be use within the worldbuilder.
Thank you again for your amazing work.
@Greymantle, Tommily: You can just edit the map file within the civ5 worldbuilder, and modify the parameters of the scenario to add any number of turns you want.
Anyway, I have played the Marathon version of this map. It stopped after 500 turns (i.e. 1000 AD) proclaiming that I have won the game. Although this is nice, I'ld rather liked to play until the "normal" end.
Furthermore, the Kievans' Rus were located where the Greeks should be. And yes, I have all available DLCs installed.
A) if you could add Babylon to the game to help fill in and balance the middle east vs Eygpt.
B) add more CS's to the game, like Warcat's BNW Map of Europe, CS's help fill in the voids on the map and significantly increase the playablity of certain isolated factions.
Ideas for added CS's:
Bergen, Norway OR Eikundarsund, Norway
Dublin, Ireland
Kaffa, Ukraine/Russia/Crimea
Mecca, Saudi Arabia OR Medina, Saudi Arabia
Novgorod, Russia
Syracuse, Sicily
Zadar, Croatia
Minsk, Belarus
Milan, Italy or Genoa, Italy
Tarsus, Turkey
Saphet, Northern Israel
Crete, Greece
Nicosia, Republic of Cyprus
Sparta, Greece
A) Love the idea of Babylon being added! Middle East needs another faction (+ more CS).
B) Rome isn't a coastal city. My idea is to switch the cattle and the settler positions making Rome inland and closer to Iron and denies other factions from attacking Rome by sea.
C) Add more City-States to the map. Adding at MINIMUM 5 more city states would help a lot with filling in space and improving game play. 5 CS's that would be good for the game would be to added Marseille to Southen Europe, add Vilnius to the Baltic area and Tyre & Sidon to the Mediterranean Coast of the Middle East and Palermo to Sciliy (to recreat the Punic Wars).
D) I really think there needs to be more tundra on this map. Scandanavia, Russia and Siberia really need to be Tundra, with some grass and plains not the other way around. (be also usful for Tundra Pantheon/Religion)
Otherwise I still think this is on of the best TSL Europe Mods.
