French player and long time Japan lover, here. Can't thank you enough for that link, partner. I wanted to try the "Lost Domains" mod and had to put the game in English for the settlements' names to appear but playing with the English voices was simply out of the question. You're a lifesaver.

This is really great. Wanted to add; for Linux Users, the directory is:

~/.local/share/feral-interactive/Total War SHOGUN 2/VFS/Local/Mods/

Extract the "mod_fots_proper_languages.pack" into this folder. Hopefully it's the same as other distros.

Is this mod not compatable with "Return of Aide-de-camp Announcer FOTS"? My friend and I can use either this mod or the other, but if we have both activated we can't join each other's games. All other mods work.

Thanks for this. I wish every TW game had a similar option. I don't know why CA went with the comical voices after the realistic languages of Empire Total War. There's nothing worse than being taken out of the game because of horrible, overdone accents. "FOR DA TRIBE! SHAMEFUL DISPRAY!" Why, CA, why?

actually it does. click on Japanese units in FOTS and they speak japanese, if its not working for you you didnt enable it

Please create a mod where all shogun 2 vanilla units are recruitable in FOTS campaign.
