The hit sounds should be in the impact folder, I believe it was impact_flesh or something along those lines.

I like it. Only issue is you used the sound of when the flood melee animation plays, rather than the impact sound. So when you get hit, it sounds like the flood are swinging but not hitting the player. just a FYI

I do love what you did with this mod though.
