Shout out to the TF Team for implementing this so quickly. It was updated before I could even respond to your comments!

I think a version that removes the hat would technically still need to occupy the "hat" equip region to avoid clipping issues between the default style and other hats being equipped at the same time, which wouldn't allow you to equip another hat anyway? At that point you've just got a scarf occupying the hat region which is a bit confusing.

hey, i just wanted to say thank you for fixing up some of the clipping issues with this!! this is legitimately one of my favorite items ever added for medic, and you going to the effort to make it even better is something i appreciate. thank you so much for making the best scarf AND best top hat tf2 has to offer!!! :D

Awww I would've loved a hatless style. Could you perhaps try making one? Great cosmetic though

I have updated this submission with a bunch of fixes and a few extras I felt could be improved. Cosmetics with massive collars are still an issue, however it should now be compatible with less extreme outfits. Please see the above image detailing the changes.

For a CHRISTMAS themed cosmetic is actually good. Holiday cosmetics like the Elf cosmetics don't work cuz they're too holiday themed and therefore can't be worn all year round and can't match with anything, but this is based on a character who isn't designed to look Christmas, this is good because a top hat and scarf can be worn all year round. Good job!

Genuinely learnt something today, thank you. My reference files don't have prp_glasses so I never knew. I guess with there being no body groups for Medic/Sniper glasses I never even thought that something could be missing either. I'll have to look into it.

medic's glasses unfortunately cannot be hidden at all, so it very much is the lenses being rigged directly to the bone (prp_glasses) like spy's cigarette or soldier & engi's helmets

Oh wow, this is the first I'm hearing about a glasses bone. Is it just visual trickery within the confines of a taunt (e.g. they hide the glasses and it's actually a duplicate pair that move) or a general quality of life update? I think my files might be out of date.

thank you for your consideration and going back to touch-up this hat! the clipping really does make it tricky to use in loadouts, which is a shame given how nicely made this is. the lenses also aren't rigged to his glasses bone, meaning that animations where he takes them off (rock paper scissors losing animation, unleashed rage taunt, commending clap taunt etc.) make them float in the air.

I'll see what I can do regarding compatibility with body cosmetics. Understandably a lot of stuff has been added in the years since I made this that I couldn't anticipate at the time. I haven't had a lot of luck with getting my previous submissions updated but I'll give it a go!

I don't tend to reply very often but I do read all of your comments and try to take the feedback on board. As a result, I'd like to think my stuff has improved in the years since I made this but I guess it's hard to judge your own work. Anyway, I hope this finds a place in your, admittedly fairly bloated by now, top hat collections!

Hat is good, but scarf falls through textures of any body cosmetic. Please do smth with it so people could actually wear this cosmetic with something else
