It's safe to start a new game since it only modifies GFX graphics files. However I suggest looking out for the new 2.6 Mod update. Link will be posted when it's ready.

your buildings are looking beautiful mate. just a quick question: is it safe to start a new game with them in federations?

you need a screenshot of these bad boys ingame. The way it is we can't take a proper look at them.
