By "not ironman compatible" do you mean achievements are disabled or it literally doesn't work on ironman?

@Douglas J. Falcon You have to meet the following conditions to get the ambition and/or forge a new bloodline:
-Independent
-Older than 6
-Prestige >5000
-Has a higher title than Count
-NOT Content
-NOT Incapable
To confirm it is or isn't working use the console command prestige (If you lack prestige)

But yes you just have to replace the file .You could also unzip the archive, change the .MOD file's path and replace the file. For the subscribtion i don't know, if you unzip it it won't get altered by the launcher/workshop. If it stays ziped it could get altered so may unsub but you could also test it first.Let me know if there are still issues, tomorrow i have more time.

@nilrem I can't get that to work somehow. Do I just have to replace the file in the .zip archive with the file you posted? Do I also have to unsubscribe to the mod? Do I have to change something in the .mod file? I tried what you posted but the option to create another bloodline doesn't even show up.

@002 If you mean the bug that prevents you from completing the forge a Bloodline ambition. Then yes kinda. But you can fix this by replacing this file:
BloodLine_Enhance_ENG\events\HF_bloodline_events.txt
With that file:

Freaking zippyshare tried to send 5 different malware files to me, got it via your tinyupload link, much better than zippyshare.

Now I just have to make sure that zippyshare didn't infect my computer.

Okay, I tried all the 7 download buttons, and none lead to that file, I just keep getting requests to install extensions, all of which my AV tagged as suspicious

The HF_bloodline_events file I posted was a bit outdated(Matilda Bloodline wasn't in there), here is the link to a new version:

@Lopus The link works just use the "download now" button on the zippyshare site. All popups and new tasks are just adds don't download anything from them, just close them.

@nilrem, what edit did you change to the line? Place a # to block it? Your zipped version seems to only download ads.

This is a good idea, either theres a bug, or its not compatible with other mods, but about 8 months in, it crashes. :(

Hi everybody the Bug that stops you from completing the forge a Bloodline ambition
after you obtained a "created_bloodline" (mostly Forged- and Crusaderbloodlines).
Is caused by this line:

trigger = {
has_dlc = "Holy Fury"
NOT = {
any_owned_bloodline = {
has_bloodline_flag = created_bloodline

In this File:

Can you add a config option to raise the prestige requirement for each bloodline?
e.g. i set it to 1000 and I already have 2 bloodlines then i have to have 7000 prestige to start forging another bloodline

The problem is after you fulfilled the requirements to create the bloodline nothing happens. No events triggers whatsoever. You are just stuck with the ambition. Maybe because the ambition itself requires you to not already have a bloodline? Idk tried it with a clean game and the correct direction, but still doesn’t work for me. Is there anyone who successfully FORGED a second bloodline after already forging on with the ambition?

To get this mod to work you need to edit a file.
The problem is the mod file is not directing you properly to the zip folder.

Documents/Paradox Interactive/Crusader Kings II/mod/bloodline_enhance_eng_mod

Open in Text and change the line from:
name="BloodLine Enhance ENG"path="mod/BloodLine_Enhance_ENG"tags={BloodLine}picture="blood.jpg"


To:
name="BloodLine Enhance ENG"path="mod/BloodLine_Enhance_ENG.zip"tags={BloodLine}picture="blood.jpg"

This mod does not seem to work with this update and hotfix. Tried on 2 new games. Hope you can update it Lazy_nerd

He doesn't have a bloodline in the game. His grandfather Charles(Karl) the Hammer has a bloodline instead which Charlemagne is part of. Two completely different people. Before Charlemagne even became a king his paternal grandfather was considered a legend for pushing Islam out of France and back into Spain.

Doesn't the charlemagne bloodline already exist ingame? I mean he was called Karl the great as well as Charlemagne. It's the same guy xD.

It doesn't work for me. I can pick the ambition but when I complete the tasks I won't get a bloodline. The only bloodline my character has was created by his great grandfather. What's going on?

Im not sure where to find that folder Vilnius im afraid. Id like to know though.

Does anyone else think there should maybe be Bloodlines for founding each Kingdom, and for reforming a pagan religion? Is that even possible to programme?

So there are like two mods. Do I keep both checked? Also, did the update affect things at all?

As a follow up to Vilius_K, I got the mod to work by unzipping the file in the mod's folder.

There are two checks, one for allowing you to pick the ambition, the other is the one in the event which only triggers if you don't have another created bloodline.

Everyone, this mod does work, but the .mod file has a path problem. After you download mods from workshop they are in a zip file instead of a folder.

So just change path="mod/BloodLine_Enhance_ENG" to archive="mod/bloodline_enhance_eng.zip" in bloodline_enhance_eng.mod.

After I did that I can see the ambition. Three characters too late, but oh well (also, no new bloodlines for my game now).

I don't know if event HF.24052 runs correctly, it didn't when I tried it but I'm gonna try again.

I used event HF.24043 which is the one for building castles, but it gave me event HF.24050 instead which is peace/castles. So I'm still figuring that one out, I had been at peace for 15 but I also built 10 castles.

@Haze, you cannot active the ambition to get the bloodline if you already possess a bloodline of any type. The mod is supposed to remove this requirement, leaving just the prestige requirement.

I was wondering if their is a specific bug, where the mod works for amition bloodline then ambition bloodline and not for legendary bloodline then ambition bloodline.

But I am pretty sure the mod doesn't work just outright, hopefully the developer can take a look at it, or somebody can create a working version.

So... first of all: you could always have two bloodlines in the family in Vanilla:

My first bloodline I got in Vanilla was a regular "win 15 offensive wars" type (I was playing Praha-Bohemia by the way). That ruler's son would call a legendary gathering and go on to duel his way towards a second legendary bloodline.

All this was already possible in Vanilla. So I downloaded the mod and started a new game; pretty much repeating what happened in the former savegames.

Now my third ruler, direct grandson of the first, direct son of the second, has turned the country christian via mass baptism. (I wanted to check the crusader-state and how that worked... Deus Vult!).

However, this third ruler cannot add a third bloodline to the family.
Wasn't this what this mod was supposed to do? Did I misunderstand? Did I do something wrong?

Any feedback or help is appreciated.
