I do agree that Albert I has a much more positive and almost legendary status and I'd love to see him in game.

There's some others which I would like to see; Prince Charles, Count of Flanders could give a cool spin on the civ for example.
Leopold I could have interesting political gameplay too. Imagine that when a city revolts and a becomes a free city, Leopold gets a prompt to immediately loyalty flip the city or something. (Considering he got offered both Greece and Belgium after revolutions.)

A much more likeable leader, and a better one too! He got his country through World War One saving as many lives as possible. His traits can be defense related (he visited the front lines regularly, he was a proponent of the flooding of the lands that held off the Germans near Ypres etc) or humanitairian.
Alternatively, consider his wife, Elisabeth of Bavaria, Queen of the Belgians, who was a front-line nurse during World War One (yes, while she was the queen already).

Thank you. Could you change "Congo Free State" trait to "Heart of Darkness"? It better fits the genocide Leopold committed.

Despite what my conscience tells me, I'm not going to object to your choice of leader; However, this civilization seems extremely weak, and their only bonuses that seem worthwhile - the bonus population and culture bombs - are both done much better by other civs.

Seeing Belgium in the list I was happy. But if you Joao IV or USSR Stalin's runs on mly PC, sadly Belgium and Leopold II no. Why ?

Hi! The Force Republique have no heads, and the Chocolaterie needs a fix too, mentioned bellow. Can we expect an update to this civ? Otherwise the mod works fine.

all leaders and civilizations have there "bad" this notion that some societies and civilizations are fairy tale perfect is a myth and is only a relation to being upset of losing the cultural tide of war.

out of curiosity, i tried playing a game as leopold with GS and it worked fine for me, so i think it's still playable for anyone curious!

why are all my cities named to cities in the congo it would be ok if they where placed on another continent but no, my cities next to brussels (capital) are named stanleyville,leopoldsville,etc

To fix the Chocolaterie bug go to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\289070\1569398961\Core\Belgium_GameDefines.sql" and change lines 27 & 28 (in the BuildingPrereqs section). Replace "BUILDING_BANK" with "BUILDING_MARKET".

I have just recently played a game using Leopold and the Belgium civ. The beginging of the game was very enjoyable and nothing appeared to go wrong. However once I reaserched the Chocolaterie building, I attempted to build it and I was show the following message, "This building requires a Chocolaterie building". In the build menu it states that it requires a bank and commercial hub, however seeing as it is a replacement for the bank it cannot be build. I assume that you accidently made the requiremnt a bank instead of a market. Great mod though!
