To better explain this: when you use this mod. Each faction begins with all the race specific heroes. So only minor faction heroes become available to hire. The only thing that MAY be stopping your mod from working is if you have a UE player in your custom game. If I was to set up a custom game BUT didnt have the horatio as a player in my game then the horatio heroes would appear in the available hero pool.

I dunno how to help you, sorry. I dont think its possible because the game handles Heroes in Endless Space 2 differently to Endless Legend. There are no duplicate heroes in ES2. Quest specific heroes are probably hard-coded to not appear for other factions because of this (they are tied to the united empire quest). As a result your probably only gonna be able to get them through playing as UE

if it doesnt work, its probably simply not possible. Endless Space doesnt allow for duplicate heroes if memory serves

@alexnewbie if you're talking about petra mandzukic is a quest hero, if you're playing with the united empire, in the faction quest you will be able to choose between 3 heroes, petra is one of them

@AlexNewbie you receive at the start only your faction-specific heroes, if you change your visual affinity, it will change what heroes you receive, but for example, if you use united empire, you only get united empire heroes, if you change to cravers, you will get craver heroes

What if you make a custom faction but use united empire template? Do you still get united empire heroes?

@Cinder, every other NPC faction also starts with that many heroes (if possible). True, some start with more in some cases. Just to clarify this isn't a cheat mod that gives the player six heroes and the other AI players 1. That said this mods primary purpose is not balanced gameplay - but instead for roleplaying and immersion.

that is way too many to start with. thought it would be cool but that is just too much power/abuse.

@Cinder With this mod you get from the 1st turn all the heroes of your faction, for example, if you start with the United Empire, you will get all the heroes of the United Empire faction

im sorry if i sound ignorant but what heroes do we get with this mod and does it remove or change anything else about the heroes. Hero pool changes? The description doesnt really give me much information.
