@Super Blargio @AMAZIN || It looks like the binds for Item 1 and Item 2 are actually reversed. I just went to "How to Get Away With Murder" in the bottom right of the lobby to have immediate access to throwing as well as an item (the Fireball Scroll) to keep testing (just go to Quick Restart in the pause menu). Sure enough, after picking up the Fireball Scroll and pressing LB, it indeed did not work. I tried all the buttons on my controller and found that pressing Y used the item, even though according to this mod's instructions, Y is Item 2 . So I went into the game's REASSIGN CONTROLS menu and just swapped these binds (no edits to the files/mod/configuration files whatsoever) and this seems to have fixed it. You might want to check and make sure that these binds are indeed what users should be setting them to.

@Super Blargio I can only recommend to carefully enter the keybindings again. Or you use a different button and change the icon image file to that button.

how do i take out the normal inputs from the screen? It's blocking the XBOX inputs

@Landerdo When i use it in the order that is provided it doesnt work, Can you list what buttons to hit for each button combo? Ex. left+right A
