Converted to another Map Tacks mod and while I LOVE their yields display, I miss some of this mods additional varieties of tacks

Just started using this and LOVE the mod. I wish it were easier to see all the possible tacks. (Many get cut off in my display - I CAN get them back by closing most of the categories until everything fits in the window. It might be better certain classes of tacks were just optionally made invisible or if the groups could be arranged as to a preferred order.

Why are some tacks available WAY before the tech that enables the action (e.g. Seasted) but some others not (plant forest)? I'm trying to put tacks for forests in my current game, I know it must exist because I can see it RIGHT THERE in the example screenshot! Am I overlooking something obvious aside from not having gotten Conservation yet?

Thanks a lot for your mod, it adds really useful pins especially for multiplayer. Do you think you could add pins with startegic resources icons? When you reveal one in teamers the first thing you do is usually pin those tiles to your allies so they know which districts they need to plant bofore revealing the resource themselves. You could rename the 'yield' category 'resources' and put them there.

@ToggoStar Not in this mod. There is a hotkey for toggling map pin visibility in my other mod: Global Hotkeys

Yeah in the added Settings Menu to the minimap section, there's a section to customize hotkeys.

Hello FiatAccompli! Thanks for this cool mod. Is there a way to toggle the pins on the map using a hotkey? I like using pins, but I don't like the cluttered look on the map. Most pins I only need to see from time to time, so it would be awesome if the pins could be hidden/unhidden with a hotkey! Cheers

You can already toggle off any of the pin categories you don't want through the Settings Manager page for Map Tacks.

Also, I do like that there are many different choices for Pin selection, but maybe you could implement some sort of filter system where you check off certain categories. Based on whether or not they are selected, only show those Pin categories?

I personally don't see any issues with the fleshed out pin screen, but I could potentially see arguments for there's just too many pins; less is more; yada yada yada . If there's a filter checkbox system, that counterpoint would be moot because you'd have the option of just hiding extraneous pins for Spies, Governors and etc .

As for where those filters would be placed, perhaps it can be placed on the tab where Add Tack is displayed.

Added autonaming of new pins (or when selecting a new pin icon). A couple icons don't have an auto-name associated because there was no good text in the game and I'm too lazy to write new text for each icon.

Anyway to autoname tacks when they are added?

e.g: Placing a Campus tack will autoname it as Campus .

@cahnoyer - Updated so things look better by default on Gathering Storm games. Note that if you have mods that add units/wonders then those sections will increase in size and force the popup to a fourth column which is problematic on smaller screen sizes. You can collapse sections with the button in the top right of each section or disable unwanted sections in the mod options.
@NicaEM - Added flood/volcano/coastal flooding icons.
@kissshot - I've had no problems loading the largest size of map supported by the game. (I'm aware there are mods that add larger map sizes. As I suspect the reason Firaxis didn't include even larger sizes in the base game is they knew things were unstable, there's not really anything I can do.)

The menu doesn't fit on screen... A bunch are blocked off because they're off screen.

A "Flood" icon would be mighty useful for reminding us of not constructing anything on tiles that would be flooded once the sea starts rising, without having to constantly go for the map mode showing it.

It would help if you would tell exactly what isn't working and provide screenshots, error logs, etc. Unfortunately, I don't possess omniscient magical powers to know what isn't working for you or why it isn't working on your setup. I started up a new Gathering Storm game and things are working for me.
