could you comment on how to mod it for mythos 3? Need to murder some vampire children

Yeah for sure, assuming it's as simple or simpler to do in that one. I'm not too well versed on Paradox modding so if it's a really complicated process I may have to leave it to someone more capable than me but I will try.

are you planning on transferring this mod over to CK3 when it comes out?

Yes I believe that mod changes the 00_plots.txt document. However this mod is really easy to do on your own, if you edit that file in the mythos 2 mod just look for and remove the plot assassinate modifiers about your children, you might also have to poke around a bit more for things that that mod adds as well incase it also adds more option that you can't use on your children.

I was looking for this 1-2 years ago and it was impossible to find. All there was where some links of mods on forums that did not work at all.

Forgot to mention, you can edit the .mod with a text editor like notepad or notepad++

Okay sorry guys! I believe I fixed it. The mod wasn't uploading correctly but it should work now. Let me know if you have any issues. If it does not work however, a quick workaround to get it to work is to go to your mod install directory (typically, /documents/Paradox Interactive/Crusader Kings II/mod). There you can edit the 'assassinatechildren.mod.mod' and change the archive="mod/assassinatechildren" to archive="mod/assassinatechildren.zip". If that doesnt work try replacing "archive" with "path". Hopefully this irons out the issue. Uploading mods on CK2 is a bit of a difficulty because there is essentially no feedback about what goes wrong.

What happens when the plot to kill your kid is discovered, yet it was successful? Do you get Kinslayer?

Hmm, it seems to work for me when I run it on it's own. Are you running any mods with it? It may be I altered something on accident yesterday because I was in a bit of a rush and made it incompatible with a mod it was previously compatible with.

@OLD No, unfortunately it changes the checksum so it is not achievement/ironman compatible.

I guess it wouldn't compatible with IronMan?
