@Trebute so was Smuts, both brought terror while fighting for their cause (Mandela to the Parliament and Smuts to the Cape Colony and the British living there when he attacked the Cape Colony during the Second Freedom War), Smuts lost and became a dog to the victors while Mandela sat and rotted away in a cell while the MK spiralled into more and more radical stuff without Mandela holding them back for fear of a military response.

@berninated_peasant I'd say it could make for a good duo civ, Smuts for diplomacy/war (leader of South Africa during ww2, front line leader during ww1 and quite successful during the Second Freedom war) also people of the time really liked Smuts considered him as the go to guy when the international world wanted a diplomat to send ex. Hungary in 1920's while Mandela for culture/diplomacy - Both where people of there times, Smuts the kommando/freedom fighter turned soldier and politician while Mandela the terrorist turned father of the nation.

The civ help Jan Smuts is literately copied from wiki and has stuff like "Fukoff" other than that the only issue I have with the civ help would be for the South Africa one, witch states that The Republic had it's first democratic election in 1994, witch is false the Republic has been democratically electing it's leaders ever since it was founded in 1910, in 1994 it just went from a partial participation to a full participation election.

Playing up to date as of my post (Nov 11 2020). I don't seem to get diplomatic slots from emergencies.

Fix for making your units white ( so Zulu retains it`s color ) : change ETHNICITY_AFRICAN to ETHNICITY_EURO. I don`t know how far the developer has gotten with fixing the bugs, but this works for me when editing the .sql file directly with notepad++.

Hello there! So, my life has been, shall we say, hectic for the past few months. So much so that I've all but had to drop Civ (and yes, it's sucked) to keep up with school, college apps, etc. However, Coronacation has given me a lot of time to get shit back in order, and I'll probably have time to fix all of these broken civs now. I can't say exactly when they'll all be ready, as I have to diagnose the problems and do updates on quite a few mods, but expect stuff soon - and maybe with a couple of improvements here or there ;)

The Kommando can not upgrade to Mech. Is this intentional or a bug or some other mod messing this up?

@deegle I have same problem. I think that there is some kind of wrong codding in this enigma pack. Albania works great and you can use their leaders, but others do not show up in civ list.

Could you give some advice on how to get the mod to appear in the Civ list when creating a game? The mod file is showing up in the Civ 6 content folder and in game mod list but not the actual Civ list

Crap, I accidentally included one per city in the description didn’t I? I removed that partway through :p

For some reason, the UI doesn't seem to behave as described. I'm assuming it works similar to Scotland's UI. However, for some cities I can build more than 1, and for some cities I can't build any. Not a huge deal, just thought it should be mentioned.

Also, the domestic trade-route bonus doesn't seem to show in the trade window. Haven't checked whether the bonus is being applied either.

The unique improvement is very cute and promotes building farms, which is something I almost never do. Great mod overall!

tbh I don't know whether or not his policies were good, maybe they were great and maybe they were awful, but he is what I think of when I think of south africa

+2 alliance points seems a bit OP considering you get +1 by default and +0.25 for various small things, i think i have seen it go up to 1.75.
