JorgenSma, it works by removing the entire concept of Brexit from the game. So in other words rather than this total mess we have in real life you may as well consider that the 2016 vote resulted in a Remain vote, or (fingers crossed) Britain revoke article 50.
Whatever your outlook on the whole debacle, Brexit and the implications simply will not effect your game what so ever.

You WILL have to start a new game and select this to make it work though, so dont sub and then wonder why it hasnt influenced your save game.

Yes it works, it is a removal of the agreement for the UK to leave the EU.
It is a very very simple database tweak that can be done in about 10 minutes and has / does work on FM17 & 18 also.
The principle of removing the agreement really is a quick do it yourself if need be.
